#(Solved) Flash Modded iPod mini (Gen 2) emits high-pitch whine when charging

After my iPod mini's battery dies completely (i.e., clock resets back to 12:00 and it doesn't show a battery depleted icon), it no longer charges. It makes a high-pitched noise and the display does not light up. After the iFlash to SD card adaptor and battery are unplugged and reconnected, it boots up as normal.

yeah so apparently it just turns back on if you charge it for a while.
