#6th gen isn't letting me add music

I just recently got a 6th gen that I synced with my home PC. And I wanna add more music through my friends PC (Cause I only have Deftones on it and I want more music) and it's not letting me add music unless I sync (delete all of my music) my ipod with his PC, how do I bypass this?

You cannot directly add music from someone else's itunes library. Have them download the music and send it your way.
