Hello I have been trying for a while now but lady alethina wont give me the AM daily. I am level 70 in both skills. The window says that I already have an active quest, but I've search a while for it and cant find it anywhere.

You are filtering out 3 quests in the quest search bar, is any of those 3 quests perhaps the AM?

Well, wait for the AM reset. If you can get another quest tomorrow, it was because you already completed it today; also try to filter specifically for aurest mission, maybe it bugged out and appeared somewhere else in your questlog. If neither options solve your problem, you can report it as a bug

I've never been able to complete an AM daily. Its been like this for weeks.

The mission will be called "aurest mission", it'll flag when you look up "aurest". If you have checked your quests using the search bar and it's not there at all, then definitely report it

Hm, not having a "Small Talk" option when you talk to Lady Alethina is weird, maybe that is a clue. What is your current favor level with her, @runic quartz? And same question to you @teal veldt, and are you seeing a Small Talk option when you interact with her?

the only issue i could see from it is me forgetting to turn the quest in and turning it in a couple days later

Oh that could definitely do it. Those quests have a reset time, so if you turn it in later and that day's quest happens to be the same as the one you just turned in, I think that will prevent you from getting it

Oh i never realized thaf Ekans had no small talk... That happened to me as well, there is a conversation option that lowers your favor with her, though i thought you could get AM quests even at despised. I dont know if i already had the quest when i lost favor with her then regained again by completing the quest or if i did something else to increase it before getting it.

From the data I was perusing, you should still be able to get AM quests at despised. I didnt actually test it though. But if you go below despised (which I think is only possible through something erroring out), then it will both remove the Small Talk option and prevent getting AM quests. So I wonder if that's whats happening

I tried so many dialogue options with her out of frustration that shes at Disliked Favor now

Yeah, aparently if you go below neutral she does not give you the quest option then.

Can see it happen when someone has an old AM, tries to get a new one but it doesn't let them and then dips all the way into disliked

I believe i was able to pick up AM quests while below neutral in the past

You need to be at least 25 to get quests from her

you can't even talk to her until you have enough notoriety iirc

given niko's reply i'm guessing something exceptional has gone wrong on the game's side of things and that ekans will just need to wait for a bug fix in order to proceed.

Ahh you know what, nevermind. I found the issue. It's a bug in the server logic. You actually need Tolerated+ to get the quests instead of the intended Despised+. I will fix it for the next patch
