Prior to the patch where you could search quest logs, the only reasonable way to find your quest was to open up item info on the quest item. Honestly this is still true, but the patch has broken this functionality.
Repro:
- Ctrl-Click an item that is used in a quest to open up the Item Info popup.
- Click the quest tab and observe the list of related quest(s)
- Click on a related quest.
- Observe that it opens up your quest log, but does not always navigate to the related quest. (Most likely the first quest in your "Other" subcategory, if you have one)
- Click on the quest button several more times, and it will eventually take you to the correct one.
This has honestly always been a bug when you were dealing with work orders vs normal quests, as it seems to kind of miss a step in swapping your quest log popup over to the correct tab. But now, it seems to fail to properly navigate to the right subcategory within your quest log too.
Subsequent clicks seem to work fine for a while, but if you select the "View Hangout" button at the very top of your questlog, you can reset the bug. I notice that the first time I click on a related quest in the Item Info popup it seems to select the first quest in my "Other" subcategory, but if I already have an "Other" quest selected, it will navigate properly.
