#Ilmari Cows

Then you should explain what the "Elite Cows" are. 🙂 I assumed it was the Elite Cow-looking mobs called Bewilderbeasts.
I also assumed you were talking about Ilmari, and gave my opinion.
While the bewilderbeests don't bother me too much. The New mobs are definitely a step backwards in making ilmari not an exercise in misery. Remove teh copy pasted 'new' mobs, maybe Keep the tornados (and change them into sandstorms because we are in the desert)
I died during a Bravius run and was spawncamped by literally 8 Drakewyrms in the se corner of the zone. My biggest complaint with the zone is that. The mages and wyrm dots are overtuned for the level of the zone without quite a decent bit of fire mit. Even Rahu, the zone above it, is far easier to deal with.
The bewilderbeasts spawn as a result of Bravius running about. I also suggest reducing his spawn cycle to be in-line with Pudding (per hour).
It's just offputting when we're skipping entire zones of content, for higher level zones. Gazluk is another good example.
Wyrms also often camp on the rooftops inside of the town there as well 😄
I have a 22 fire mitigation ring, and 21 lighning mitigation. The wyrms became very easy with those. I have seen a couple of spots where people can respawn that also have mob respawns. Those can certainly be a problem. Strangely, in about 20 hours in the zone, grinding levels and hides, haven't seen a Bewilderbeast yet, and I know Bravius breaks out at times.
Well, obviously. You should leave that to me. But if you are trying to say that because I have a different opinion that I shouldn't post, then we disagree on that as well. These suggestions are for discussion, and we all have opinions.
sure, but this is a conversation about the changes to ilmari and how you dislike them and think changes should be made. Vs people like Walrus (and myself) enjoy how Ilmari has changed and think they're improvements.
Personally, I agree strongly with what Celtor said, in that the new mobs are very copy-paste-y and dont help the zone feel unique and interesting. I think if they tweaked the mobs a bit to be a little bit more customized to ilmari (tornadoes being sandstorms instead). Also one thing that I did really like about ilmari before is how it felt like a barren wasteland. I think they're walking a fine line between wanting it to be a proper challenge, and wanting it to feel like a desert. I think a way that this worked well before the change was that mobs were highly clustered around specific points (like the rakshasa gatherings) but sparse elsewhere. So if it were me, I'd change it to instead follow that pattern. Just add more gathering points. So between the gathering points feel empty and desolate, but then when you wander into one you're slammed
tl;dr, I think ilmari needs some fine tuning in order to bring back the vibe it had previously, but the increase in mobs is over all a positive change
Sentient sandstorms would definitely be a better fit.
I also like the idea of having like, fertile patches where the cinderboars and nature elementals congregate with high density
Making the mobs more heavily clustered with a lot of empty space between those clusters would do a lot to make the zone feel like a desert rather than "a space with some shit in it" to quote OP
The fertile areas with nature elementals fits the lore of the warden emergency as well, that nature is bubbling up and a problem.
Which means you didn't read the description of the forum: This forum is for the discussion of suggestions, but not the main place to send suggestions!
All suggestions should first be submitted through the in-game menu, under the ! icon on the right sidebar.
Devs don't look at these, in general. And the topic is open for discussion. You don't have to take part in the conversation, but it is open to others to do so.
As stated at the top of the section, in the rules for the threads, this is not the primary place to make suggestions.
