“The Anxiety Propagators” quest does not reset progress after being abandoned

-I opened the Quest window and selected the quest from the list.
-I chose to abandon the quest, and a pop-up window appeared informing that all quest progress would be lost.
-I chose to continue, and the quest was removed from the quest log.
-However, after talking to Mirraverre again, she gave me the quest with all the previous progress still intact

I want to know if this is even completable. One char stuck on 9/10, Confirmed it IS completable
