Seems to happen regularly since i returned to the game. Not constantly but enough to be very annoying. Only in open zones and usually far of terrain like mountain faces and such. Flashing white or simply disappearing for a second before flashing back. Rather immersion breaking. I sent a bug report about it ingame as well. Tried fiddling with every setting i can think of without success. Never seen anything similar before so i assume related to the recent graphical patch.
#Flickering terrain.

Yep thats a graphical bug on our end. It's been fixed internally already and will go live with the next patch
Awesome, it's not bad enough to keep me from playing but glad to hear it's just temporary:)
Ok this should be fixed now!
looks good so far
Still happens, to a lesser degree i believe. Overall every zone looks and runs a lot better now. But i still get flickers far in the distance, at least in Serbule and Serbule hills that i've noticed. And not as regularly as before i think.
Seems to be mostly a rare flicker every now and then now, it was fairly regular before the patch. Will report if i see it any other zones.
Can count on one hand how many flickers i've seen since the patch, but most of them were in serbule hills. For the most part it seems good now, game looks better than ever too and runs super smooth.
Reopening this bug. I believe it's location dependent, so when you see flickering can you do an /xyz in-game and report the coordinates here? As well as the zone you're in, something like "Serb Hills: 1460, 25, 1572". That will help us track it down and fix it
Not seen it since yesterday but mostly been grinding indoors today. I feel like location dependent is correct. I do seem to have forgotten how to check map coordinates though.
You can check map coordinates by typing "/xyz" into the chat window, it should spit out 3 numbers and those are the numbers I need
Tried the command, getting invalid command from it atm. Tho i did find another spot. And was able to replicate it a few times by going very slowly over the spot. But now i can't seem to find it anymore. It was on the edge of the hillside in serbule looking towards the Eltibule portal, with the house on the left hand side. It did seem very exact and tiny.
No flickering terrain.. but the /xyz seems like an admin-only command
Serbule hills still has a lot of flashing/flickering terrain parts for me. Trying to report as i find them but the zone seems to be the worst contender for this graphical clitch, feel that was the case pre patch too. Seen tiny spots in other zones and some areas in Kur that look a bit strange but Serbule hills flickers all over the place, i prob make it sound worse than it is. But finding quite a bit of it there today. More so than in other zones for sure.
Oops, sorry. Didn't realize /xyz is admin only! I see your reports, those will be helpful as they contain the coordinates that I need. Thank you!
Before the patch I got the flickering in Elt (whole map) and now those are fixed but I get them in Vidaria instead
Still seeing flashing terrain post most recent patch on Kur beach. But seems to only be the island and ice flows out in the water now. I checked Serb hills and found nothing so far there. Edit: i keep finding more spots in Kur it seems.
I want to say it's better now than before patch, but i will hold off until a few days.
The spots i do find in kur atm, seem smaller and harder to pinpoint.
Serb Hills is the only one we fixed for this patch, unfortunately. We know the cause now and have fixes for other zones but they havent made it in yet.
Not detected a single flicker since patch in either Kur or Serbule hills. Not done extensive testing but current impression is good.
Still, no flickers. Seems fixed:)
