Gazluk Riding Grid Errors

Many of the riding squares in Gazluk are not granting experience. When equiped with a set of reins that shows the check mark when you've completed a square, it will already show that experience has been gained in many squares. Even if it's a character's first time ever being in the zone, and all of the fog is present.

I believe these squares are sharing a check off map with a previous zone. It's too hard for me to guess which zone it would be, but it's definitely not Vidaria, or Povus, as those zones weren't accessed on the character I ran into this error.

I've only noticed this error in gazluk, and I've noticed it on multiple characters.

This issue persists in some form. I am new to Gazluk as seen by the fog of war being discovered, however the riding checkmark remains ticked despite riding through fog of war for 2 minutes.

You will notice I started at an area where I didn't have the checkmark, obtained it, and then rode somewhat northbound for 2 minutes and it remained ticked (video).

How do you even get the grid to show up? I have reins that are supposed to show checkmarks, but I got nada. Is it because my riding skill is currently capped?
