To be honest, Literature isn't as bad as people say it is

I know a few literature majors who went into foreign affairs and did extremely well. Knowing verbose and having charisma in that field can get you a long way compared to most other people.

But they studied literature not of their own countries

Meanwhile I know a bunch of Comp Sci majors who basically ended up in the bottom 10-20% of their class and had to go take High school level data center jobs. They're still happy, but many of the extremely successful ones seriously had to claw their way up because competition here is probably one of the worst in the entire world.
