You can also replace gavial and vigil with 2 fast redeploys (gravel + red for example) and bait the burns, that will significantly lower the healing requirement because burns do 2 things:
- Heavy DoT on the afflicted ops
- Once in a while she will ignite all the burning ops to do a cross-shaped Aoe that will instant kill your team if multiple burning ops are next to each other
Burns are done every 20s or so, FRD are 18s at base, so keep using them on cd and you will be fine

Yeah I think thats what you should do. You only need to worry about his Phase 1 poison but with a few Medics thats not a big issue especially when you have CE.

My point is that, before Wisadel, many of us do it the right way: Phase 1 - Let him cocoon - Phase 2. But nowadays with Wis, we only need to concern ourselves with his Phase 1 and Wisadel can shave quite a big chunk of his Phase 2's HP. Sure you can use Ceobe but thats beside the point. I didnt say that it "could not be done before" but rather Wisadel makes things trivial now.
And like you said, when he dies, DoT gone.
