Well you can stall them, and for this map they all spawn in 2 left boxes if i recall right. You can't edit their route really as each clone is hardcoded to walk his way

Excluding splitboxing by deploying on top of them, but i don't know if anyone do that on not H stages

When you deploy on enemy they are being pushed away from center of tile, due some float point error stuff it can allow at some maps to consistently push boss 1 tile to side of their original path. But it different per map and often used in some low operator count clears.

it's their way of making it easier for you to have your preferred blocker actually be the artillery target instead of someone who naturally has high block but prefers not to be blocked (Horn, the debut op in that chapter)

if there's slugs that appear early on, even a 1-blocker can be the artillery target over Horn
