I just wondered if I would be better off using lower rating characters as my main team rather than having 6 and 5 stars cause they are good but I can never deploy them on time or have enough resources to promote them? If so what should be the max rating of my team before I move into the higher tiers and if there were 1 or 2 characters 5/6 stars who should be a must have to make events easier? Also how to farm tokens for lower rarity ones potentials and upgrade mats?

Second promotion of 6*, 5* is big investment (Need much more material and farm AP stage on top). You might start with second promotion of 4* unit to unlock friend support of everything (Friend support is gated by highest promotion you have in squad at any time). #help 's favourite 4* to second promote first is Cutter - Recruitment "Nuker" tag (Double check if there is Sniper/Caster/AoE/Ranged tag in there, Cutter - Cutter, copium 5* from recruitment - 5* from recruitment). For deploying on time start stages with Vanguards which don't follow "Charger" (1 DP on kill, unless stage in question starts with 30 1-hit slugs) archetype to get some DP boost, retreat when needed

It is somewhat easier to promote 6* and 5* later in game because you will build up pile of event's shop materials you didn't need right away (Looks on 15 T5 Salt in my inventory) reducing amount of grind you need to do to reach materials needed for promotions

Ok your setup was amazing. Sadly typhon and my healers on the middle high ground eventually died buuut I was able to rapidly redeploy degenbrecher topside after Ya died and she got taken down by sheer damage
Mlynar facing bot helps kill both Yas faster but yeah it was honestly amazing gummy and Lappland were able to mostly hold what was left once typhon went down
