Saileach give attack speed? 
to make gnosis freeze (with any actual benefit) you need some insane attackspeed
which is basically IS/SSS only
His default attack interval is 1.6 second, he chills for 1 second, you need +60 attack speed to theoretically freeze with normal attacks
And then game drops some random frame and shit stops working 
he also needs to attack twice to freeze
If he needed to attack once then we wouldn't care for attack speed

the 5* dilemma's issue is they're not measured for simple effectivity with a decent amt of stats like 4* and outclassed in both effect and stats by 6* counterparts most of the time.
with that said, there's a lot of 6* that's not used because they're also too specific in their roles
5* > 4*
4* have generalist kits with bad numbers
5* have niche kits with g ood numbers
6* have generalist kits with good numbers
