Having a general squad of 12-14 ops is fine for the beginning but as you learn the game and advance, you'll learn that you'll need different ops and strategies for certain gimmicks and enemies

Don't feel overwhelmed by the number. Stick to 3*s in the beginning and as you progress replace them one by one with higher rarity ops
Note the higher the rarity, the more expensive they are to upgrade
you can play favorites as long as you understand how their kit works and their limitations
And I would say don't get too used to abusing borrows especially in early story unless it's a boss stage you're stuck on

they seem rather similar

yeah not the best lane holder, though usually behind hoshi for maps with one path. Specter before e2 usually is just used like a normal centurian to hold lane solo with medic/healing defender
Lords are pretty frail so yeah either put them behind tankier ops or at an off angle
heres another question, how useful is Dorothy?
Good operator but kinda niche and you need to know exactly what you're doing
pretty useful, but just requires a little more thought and work to bring out her full potential. Generally requires some map knowledge but by no means bad for general content
I feel that applies to most good units

overall ngl a bit on the niche side of things. Weedy, lee, lin, silence and saga likely won't be TOO worth your investment here unless you can go e2.

"Management" means replacing tired ops with not tired ones so your base production isn't halted

Needed Increased Ball Strength for this low op clear to work, and I didn't want to wait for them to be available, so I just played on CN. I literally just needed the increased strength for the final set of Arts Guards as the wall above them saves them from taking more damage.

...while allowing Kristen to override AT MOST 5 Planetary Debris.
"At most" is the opposite of "at least", if that helps
changing phase is 3 balls, so she can convert only 2 debris max on phase 1, kill her with mlynar asap
or just don't destroy the override
phase 2 she made out 3 balls already,
so you need to not let her make more than 2 balls in phase 1

and c = total number of enemy of the stage

so like if their HP is 40000 hp, it will be 80000 hp at the end
If i recall they go 20% strenght if you kill trees before 20% of enemies on map, then with % more or less equal to how much enemies died, capping on 80%, 100% happens only if you don't kill trees at all
Ambriel S2 can easily reach all trees on H11-2, but you will need to stall boss until you deal with all trees more or less one by one
yes, that's how they work. They have their own base stats which get reduced based on the enemy percentage of the stage that has been cleared.
