Defenders were my solution to tank Dorothy’s annoying damage. One really good medic can usually do the job. For the bottom lane, you can just deploy someone further ahead so Dorthy doesn’t wipe and leak enemies. My strong suggestion is Mudrock

Can just leave a well leveled Mud in bot and leave her there alone

For the top lane, you can just stack casters and defenders cause of the experiments. Just make sure you have prio onto your defenders or your medics/casters will go down real fast (Dorothy hurts)

For the beginning, try to get Surtr to take out those two golems on far right cause they will wake up pretty fast. Normally she’ll ideally be deployed after your 4-5th op

I felt exactly the same way; I'm also using Astesia in lieu of Mousse.

I've had to jig things around a bit to get over the extra boss dmg: specifically, making sure the southern-most Healer (eg. Ansel) has a '+x range' boost heals, so that Astesia can get heals from both directions. I also have Spot (the only healer tank I have) adjacent to Astesia's square to assist, timed to when the rocket-launcher robot joins in attacking.

I don't have Midnight levelled either, though I'm doubtful he could hold that position without Mousse's debuff anyway. Thankfully, I have Silverash, who can tank and regen hp with his S2, so I use him to block the south-facing rocket attack (probably any 2-block that can dps and regen will do here?). The regen works well with Ansel's healing, increasing that likelihood of a heal going to Astesia first. The downside is Silverash's S2 has no range (and no arts dmg regardless), so zero dmg contribution here! He's only useful against the mobs in phase 1. To make up for the loss in Midnight's arts dps (pretty significant), I need all 3 casters + Astesia fielded from the start of phase 2 (even with 99dp whilst winding down phase 1, dp gets really tight with the redeploys – this dictates caster selection).

I've ended up with Haze E1 L50 S2 (redeploy), Steward E1 L40 (redeploy), and Goldenglow E1 L80 S1 (1st use) + E1 L50 Astesia S1 (redeploy) as the only melee arts dealer (btw, in this scenario Astesia's S1 is better than her S2). Those 4 together barely just have the dps (consistently so). There are no extra buffs from elsewhere in the team.

she will be doing very low damage, and enemy defense being higher than exu is common nowadays

so she needs buffs to overcome this weekness
