While true, but wouldnt silverash2 be the more comfortable vanguard to use generally? I mean he basically does everything Ines can do, but differently.
Bind? Freeze
Reveal? Aoe reveal
DP? Dp reduction / generation
Ines however has better edge over reveal due to her permanent reveal with her ranged effect thingy.
The bind can also be better due to cycling and redeploying(?) unless you have a comp to consistently use sash2’s freeze effectively (+ most enemies are frozen by two slashes).
Idk the dps comparison between them, but depending on team comp, i’d say sash2.
And again both can be placed in the same team if needed.
Now the question was if they want to replace ines with sash2 on the team with no context, so I assume for general composition, I’d say sash2.
His kit is just overall useful and impactful unless the team doesnt compliment his kit and/or if ines kit is better to use on that stage over sash2 s3 (if s2 is opposed by team comp).
And yes Ines and Sash2 are both equally good in the meta area with different works.

2. I won't comment the "comparison" you made since they are reductive and don't make much sense, especially the dps one since even Sash2 s2 is more gimmicky than actually good for dps
3. the fact that you can use them both in the team doesn't mean it's optimal, dp generation doesn't matter after the initial stage (or it doesn't matter at all) and the utility they provide is in the end still "niche" (not even worth to mention for most general content)
4. since general content is kinda whatever there is no clear winner unless you consider "comfiness" as the main parameter, which we shouldn't, and they can decide themselves who to pick between the two since vanguards since, as said before, they really do different things. The important thing is that they don't waste an extra slot for a vanguard
