When you keep pulling in a limited banner you have a 70% chance to get one of the featured ops, so inevitably you'll keep getting the same two operators' dupes (which are mostly useless in this game, you don't need them to make the op function).
Ideally you could have spent these 276 pulls in like 4/5 banners to get different operators that fulfill different roles and different needs, whereas with pulling on that limited banner till the 300 cap you are losing the chance to get a new operator since you'll keep getting dupes of operators you already have.

Also you get like between 300 and 400 pulls every 6 months, you are basically forcing yourself to skip everything only to spark an old operator. Especially for newbies, skipping 6 months of pulling to get one single unit that can be borrowed whenever you want is bad, they should instead aim to pull different banners to fill the roles and gaps in their roster

You can use gravel to help stall and make cat time easier

you can outheal the dmg or redeploy strategically too, snowsant's crane helps with the latter
