my initial thoughts are no, considering the main units on that banner are a 'healer' and a defender. I havnt seen enough on hoshi to talk on her damage really. A good damage dealer can make the story quite easy

Limited banners are not inherently more expensive. You have the same odds of six star. The chances of a rate up are actually higher, ust split between two operators. Haruka is not a fail case; she's a truly incredible sustain. Hoshi is quite good, but she's not a premium DPS, which should probably be a higher priority for a young account if you don't have a couple great ones yet.

i havnt seen enough, i know haruka is the best survivability unit in the game, and hoshi does do some damage, i just dont know how egregious that "some" is

if you want to pull on that banner you can, theres laptop Gavial and eijaberry offrate too. Both those units are the best in their respective roles too

All her skills are her best skill situationally, Her s2 is the most generally applicable. Her s3 is her theoretical highest damage, and her s1 is the highest burst and keeps her safe. It really depends on what you need her for

Her skills have different applications. The applications are different enough that they're not competing. The s3 shreds in tight spaces and against bosses that take multiple tiles. The s1 is better availability than other liberator options and plays nice with SP support that other liberators don't normally benefit from. Leizi is a case where all her skills have a clear place that isn't once in a blue moon.

well s3 is really really hard to use right, m3 is pretty practical, m6 is also good. M9 is hard to argue for becuase of the price and how niche the skill is. If you want to m9 it you can. But its not going to be common you use her s3

That is not LappDumb. It is a reasonable choice; it just means you need to prioritize DPS six stars going forward.

for now id reccomend just m3 on her s2, and then you can mastery the others if you find you need them for some content. her s1 can take some finesse to use well too (but it is very strong for those uses cough tragodia cough)
