we currently have Necrosis, Nervous Impairment and "Fire" (read wiki if you want propoer effects explained)
elem dmg isn't that great as you think, it's fixed dmg and generally this doesn't scale well with content
the good ops that can use elem dmg is because they are solid per se, not only because they can do it
if you want the "meta ops" that can also deal elem we have Tragodia coming and Logos if you'll ever get him

tragodia deals nervous impairement but his kit isn't only relying on proccing elem dmg, he has tons of other utility (mainly for stalling)

If you use different types, each other will race to procc it. The losers will lose all stack and you have to start accumulate it again from beginning.

So using both Elems is bad, use them in different areas where they won't overlap each other.

2. as said, it not scaling generlly well doesn't mean it's useless just generally not that useful. True dmg in AK is considered niche since it hardly matters

1. the event is thought as a progression to the top, you need to clear every stage to clear all the rewards
2. it doesn't cost sanity
   this event is one of the few tailored towards more veteran players, they let a leeway of getting points even after first clear rewards for people but it's not the main focus of the event
