#no lincense when "play on steam"

... heya so i got a rdr2 code which i redeemed in the social club
however when i click on "play on steam" in the launcher (bc there is no other option ....) it opens steam and says i dont have the license...
any tips?

Sound like cache messed up , try clear steam cache, social club cache, rd2 cache. i think.

Regardless, you need for R* launcher to "forget" steam. You could try to uninstall onedrive if you have it. Delete R* games folder in documents and R* games folder in %appdata/local/. Then try again. Somewhat nuclear option is to uninstall steam temporary, however if you have bunch of games installed in it's default directory, feel free to rename Steam folder in program files before going for it (and later rename it back). Possible just renaming could work, perhaps check if you have RDR2 folders too in there from some leftover installations?
