i did the vulkan thing and all the other fixes on reddit i could find but the game won’t launch. it appears as running on steam for a couple seconds and then stops, anybody know what to do?

Happened to me too, but I didn't do that vulkan thing

double check that your gpu drivers are up to date and windows is up to date... then read the first comment here.
