No the cameras are not the things that will break when exposed to sunlight it's the lenses inside the headset will break if exposed the cameras may glitch out though but you should be fine as long as the lenses in the headset don't get exposed to direct sunlight

So if you only play in the sunlight it may have tracking issues with the cameras but if you are in just a well lit room it should work as normal

And if you can only play in that room that has sunlight try getting curtains or just figure out a way to block the sunlight

And no if you do play in the sun sometimes it won't damage your cameras I used to play out in the trees outside my house where the sun would shine and my headset still works like a charm
