It has solid sp attack and can setup smarty pants pretty fast

It has paralysis, so you still have a slot for psychic terrain or super effective up next

Only downside is the lack of tech ex (but still has the innate)

However maybe paralysis isn't that big of a deal since redlax can paralyze

3 psychic and a thunder wave should be faster than 6 charging infliction growls and a body slam
