I think that is one of the toughest decisions to make If you get a lucky stage, you should absolutely just throw whatever role bonuses you can at it, there's a lot of point potential there. But otherwise, I'd definitely save at least 2 UB destroyers for Stage 10 - NC Leaf, NC Serena, SST Red etc

PoMatools is a godsend, if I see that stage 10 is Field/Sprint then I know I'm not going to use NC Leaf or NC Serena there, I can use them earlier

I personally never want to buy more than 2-300

#1 priority: one or two copies of good stat stacks (eg. Champion, psychic, grass, electr, water, main character etc)
#2 priority: sales on aforementioned or good bonuses (crit, stat buffs, etc)
#3 priority: 50pts good buffs (crit especially, or any buff with an entry buff stat or close to it, example: spdef buff+100% damage while having nc blue or Rosa as accessible tanks)

I only consider bonuses that last multiple stages, as you should get by stage 9 with an already setup team in mind

i think i got it worked out. SS Wally has two uses of Head Start 1 at the start through a base passive and through his grid, SS Mina has Head Start 1 as a lucky skill, that skips the first turn. First sync, Wally syncs, activates his new Head Start 2 passive from mega evolving, Adrenaline 1 as a lucky skill and quad queues Fairy Wish to skip a second turn, Second Sync, Gladion has his Sprint EX Role activate and quad queues X Speed+ to skip a third turn

so a combo of lucky skills, passive skills and just general good gameplay
