To assist with the decision of which 5* BP Ticket Sync Pair to get, here a summary and recommendation write-up of the most important aspects to pay attention to.

#

Nita & Landorus

#

A Ground Type Support, with the capability to boost the Attack and Speed stats, for the whole team, by +4. With Fly, Ridicure and Mini Potion All she can perform as a pretty solid tank, but will rely on dodging the most dangerous moves with Fly. Additionally, Fly messes with your Sync Move Countdown, suboptimal if you need to use that before your Sync Move, but overall supporting the gauge quite well.

#

Evelyn & Entei

#

A Fire Type Support, raising the team's Defense and Special Defense stats by +4. Her sustain is more reliable, as it does not mess with your Sync Move Countdown, but she lacks the offensive setup, a purely defensive support. Excels at longer lasting battles like Legendary Arena and Legendary Gauntlet. Can also apply burn to the enemy with a 50% chance, relies on getting hit to support the Move Gauge.

#

Player & Mesprit

#

A Psychic Type Support, focused on defensive field setups with Reflect and Light Screen, but with reliable offensive stat boosts for the whole team, being +4 Special Attack and +2 Speed.

#

Player & Cobalion

#

A Fighting Type Support, with teamwide +3 Crit and +4 defense buffs. Support the Move Gauge of the Team very well with Move Gauge Acceleration and has guarenteed defense debuffs.

#

Player & Regirock

#

A Rock Type Support with a teamwide +4 Attack Buff setup. The TM is a Potion with +2 Defense and Gradual Healing buff, making it a very good tool to ensure survivability, but only for a specific targeted Sync Pair. Lacks Gauge Support or teamwide Sustain, which can be crucial for Legendary Arena & Gauntlet.

Dana & Regice

#

A Ice Type Support, that brings survivability and sustain to the team, while also contributing an offensive asset for your damage dealer. Like her sister Evelyn, she can boost the defenses of your team but relies on getting hit to boost physical defense, making her better for prolonged battles like Legendary Arena / Gauntlet, also having an Top Potion Heal with Protect effect.
Additionally Super Effective Next Up is a great asset to have if you look for a finishing move, but it only works on Super Effective moves and is better to end short battles quickly.
She lacks teamwide heals and any offensive stat buffs.

#

Player & Registeel

#

A Steel Type Support with the option to cover single target burst heal and teamwide heal if you worry about dangerous moves from the enemy. With the addition of Move Gauge Acceleration and Speed Buffs (needs to attack the enemies for) it also covers the need of Move Gauge for your team, for both the start and prolonged battles.
However the defense buffs are tied to Registeel, hence lacking teamwide defense buffs and any offensive stat buffs.

Which 5 BP Sync Pair should I pick?*

#

-> Ask yourself who you like more. All of them provide a pretty nice niche, especially for the Legendary Arena/Gauntlet Mode, you can not go wrong with any of them, if you like the Pairing.

-> Cobalion is generally a very recommended choice, the mix of Teamwide +3 Crit and great Move Gauge Support in 1 Unit makes Cobalion very good for dual dps combs, in which the Damage dealer only have to care about setting up their own Attack / Special Attack buffs, which is not all to rare for many DPS units, but the combination of Crit and Gauge support is quite rare.
-> Registeel also provides Gauge Support but lacks the crit buffs that Cobalion covers, so he is more suitable for Damage Dealer that cover all their offensive buffs.

-> If your main concern is the Legendary Gauntlet Mode, then Evelyn would be an amazing choice. With her Omni Defense buffs, Teamwide Regen All and the potential Team Fist Bump proc, she can ensure teamwide sustain to hold out long enough to beat the Boss Stage with only 1 team, but compared to other choices she lacks the impact in pre-sync content like the Champion Stadium.

-> If you are looking forward to more offensive Buff Setup supports, then Nita for Attack or Mesprit for Special Attack Buffs is your way to go, Given that these buffs are more likely to be covered by your Damage Dealer or even other supports, they are in a less desired spot as Supports than Cobalion, but not necessarily a worse pick if you need exactly that.

-> If you want a Support that provides assets for both short battles and longer battles, Dana with the teamwide sustain but also Super Effective Up Next buff is your Go To pick. (Keep in mind the buff only works for super effective attacks, which may be strong enough on their own to end short battles).

Should I candy or get a copy with the 5 ticket*

#

The main appeal of the kits for every 5* BP unit comes from their base moves and passives. They may be improveable via Sync Grids but there won‘t be any major upgrades for their performance and it won‘t change heavily what they do, at best adding some additional stuff like teamwide crit at entry.
For 5 Candies*, 5* Gacha Sync Pair should be the more desired targets as they tend to have more impactful Sync Grids.
For 5 Tickets*, it‘s more recommended to focus on getting other Sync Pairs first to expand your roster, for future content or personal preference.

Exception If any of the 5* Sync Pairs stick out the most to you as a favorite and you desire something from their grid, you can spend your resources for them however you like.
If you don‘t want any other 5* BP Pair, using a Ticket for a copy is recommended over Candies
