After Max Vibes, you'll be on turn 5, so the next thing you say will have +4 points on it...
If the convo goes on for one turn longer than normal because of Hot Topics halving attention loss, you've already made a bigger score difference than if you picked a higher-value option without the halved attention loss

Convo length becomes much more valuable than individual topic score if you get past the first few turns

I don't have good advice for when to give the gift. Using it when its Attention heal will be fully utilized, means risking the convo dropping out on the way there.

Lodge Blue, Dawn, and Morty are straightforwardly useful. Lodge 'Rola plays a little like OG Falkner (dodge to give the team speed bonuses). I used Lodge Clemont against Gauntlet Uxie, and I used Lodge Elesa against Gauntlet Latias

I EXed Lodge Raihan out of the principle of the thing, but I'm not sure I've ever used him.

I used Lodge Cynthia against Latias as well... And she didn't turn up when I filtered my roster for "started at 4star, is currently 6EX." Because I forgot to EX her. Hm.

This... Would explain why that team had more trouble than I expected

This occurred to me because I tried thinking of someone who would want Raihan's entry Sand. The first to come to mind is Cynthia&Garchomp... But they also want every sync, so Raihan can't flex his EX anyway.

Also Bertha is in the general pool and probably more useful to Cynthia, whereas Raihan is a Fair pair

Well, first you need to notice you have two teams that explore at the same time

Try to maximize a different color on each, and cycle the colors

So you can afford more slots sooner

It's not real easy to suggest 3slot teams because... it means you're completely new. So your roster will be all over the place

The sooner you have 6 slots, the sooner you can start building for rare caches-- and pulling in rewards that help outside the Lodge

Because this my first time reaching 10 interactions before a lodge unit released, most times I been at 9 when a lodge unit released

So you know how battles don't actually consume Stamina until you win?
Interactions are not like that. They do consume the Interactions when you enter the... interaction. But if you do not complete the conversation (e.g. by the app crashing, or you closing it on purpose), the game will refund you the Interactions when you next return to the lodge

To reduce cheesing (i.e. to make it harder to reroll unfavorable convos), the game autosaves clientside when you select the topic that would end the convo-- this autosave happens before the Guest responds, so you can't "reactively" reset. If you're going to reset, do it while you're staring at the three topic choices but have not chosen one for that turn yet
