For players who aren't currently reaching 100 with other pairs, they are forgoing Lodge Stone rewards in favor of having a headstart in leveling a new sync pair.
Because you're saving the interactions you're not generating any. So over 3 resets you're losing out 8 interactions worth of experience that could be used to get more Lodge stones.

So it's a trade-off. Miss out on Lodge Stones for getting Acerola to level 100 quicker.

Depending on what your goal is, I generally use gold gifts to get to 100 faster, and silver gifts afterwards. Gold gifts are a bit too expensive to use past Level 100, especially if you're trying to get decorations
