Through most of my testing over 50% of the time the trainer leaves at 90% mark. It’s completely illogical.

If they wanted it to be that random it should just be a quick press button like daily summon

They knew what they were doing leaving it open to re roll interactions

I guarantee you in the meetings about interactions they knew more invested players would figure it out and less invested would just spam buttons

I wouldn't. Chests give quite a few tier2 and tier3 crystals, and stuff that helps you even outside of Lodge to boot
They're also the sole source of tier4 stones

Want more friend keys? Need more chests
Want more non-Lodge loot? Need more chests
Want more scout tickets? Need more chests

The only flaw is that they don't give tier1 crystals

You can compensate with Omni Extract on both teams though

After a while you get so many of the lodge crystals anyway, you barely need to farm them anymore. Full chests is the way to go

I always do color + chest on each expedition team and rotate the colors every once in a while

The extra Attention for a Gold gift instead of a Silver one... runs the risk of the convo dropping out before you can even hand it over.
So it comes down to a 1.3x multiplier vs 1.5x

The cost for a gold gift makes that a little hard to justify...

I feel like while there's a limited number of things they could do with him like that, they haven't actually used any of it up yet, so... it could work

Red/Cache, build an Alola-focused team around Selene in teamslot A

Blue/Cache is harder because a greater proportion of cache units "eat" blue. There are two known 10Blue/10Cache teambuilds, both requiring multiple limited pairs

You could build a dual Johto/Alola team around SSKris and Lillie, if you have SSGio for the Johto side.

With Shauna, it is now possible to build a 10/10 team in Kalos as well.

I was talking about MR giving +3 cache and -2 red, while giving +1 red due to Selene. Totals to +3 cache, -1 red.
Since in this case +2 cache is all you need, non-alolan pair with +2 cache would be better than MR, since it doesn't tax the red.

I'm not sure I agree. +3cache -1red has more expedition skill budget value than +2cache, and it leaves the cache score at an odd number so that Omni Extract can fill the gap if they swap Barry out.
But we just solved it another way anyway so never mind

In that specific case they had caches at 11, remember that one?
So +3 was no different from +2, while lowering red.

By removing Barry and switching to Omni Extract

Extracts are a better source for the last one or two Cache points

Your way is 10 Cache without extract, so... they'd have to use Fiery. Or use Omni anyway and end up at 11 cache all over again

Neither is good; keeping MR and removing Barry would have been a much greater benefit

That's a different solution, fair. I just noticed that MR is worse than any +2 cache, so swapping him out is at least better than leaving it as is. Didn't go further, so it wasn't the best team you could do.

I.e. it's a slight improvement to the presented team, but I don't deny the team can be made even better by swapping other pairs, while leaving MR.

Ohhhh, I see. Snarl is for any move, and Snicker is specifically for attack moves

So Snarl could work on something like Leer, but Snicker needs you to actually deal damage
