Currently it's possible to get 9blue/10rare in Team B with Sycamore, Evelyn, Nita, Lysandre, and two off-regions (a +3blue and a +2rare), with Omni Extract.
Replacing the off-region +2rare with Shauna's +2rare, would allow Sycamore to give another +1blue... bringing us to 10blue/10rare.

Lodge needs to fix a lot to be entertaining and fun as right now it feels like a daily chore. We need more rewards above level 100 and more pairs to level than one a month. We also need something more to do in lodge and more animations and special music for each sync pair. Overall I am not happy at all with the Trainer Lodge and was expecting more with the hype. Please add at least 2-3 sync pairs a month even F2P pairs for people who don't have the Pokefairs or general pool pairs.

The problem with the Feel Ring was that it would call up the Hot Topics even on turns where they wouldn't do anything (Turns 1 and 2, and the two turns of Max Vibes). And then they'd be gone for good whether you used them or not.
Now the Feel Ring can resummon them every turn until you use them, which makes it kind of great. Instead of resetting for a Turn 2-3 Hot Topic spawn, we use the Feel Ring (which is nigh-guaranteed to give us a Hot Topic on one or both of those turns) and can instead reset for a good Hot Topic category

Someone brought up-- aside from Feel Rings being good now, the rest of the topic pool is slightly worse because good topics get selected (and consumed) but bad topics return to the pool. I doubt the effect will be all that huge in the average run, but it could be a hindrance if your Interaction reaches a high turncount

Let me pick a freebie to use as an example...

Sycamore has... 22 Super Exciting topics if you talk to him at the Lodge, out of 74 total topics

On your first turn, that's, well, a 22/74 chance for each of your three choices to be a 10pointer. 63.3% chance of at least one of them being a 10pointer, if I did the math right

So let's say you manage to make it to turn 11 and only picked 10pointers on the way there. You had to choose ten of them, so the topic pool is now 12/64 10pointers

Which is only a ~40% chance of having a 10pointer among your choices that turn

I could try calculating what it'd be before the change, but I have no idea how.

I kinda suspect the probability would balance itself out to give roughly an equivalent chance at turn 11 as you had on turn 1, though...

It's a bit too complex before the change - you have to consider every possibility of topics appearing each turn (combination of 2 unchosen types of topics), and that changes subsequent turn probability, and it splits...

If you have a non Hot Topic 10pointer available on turns 1 and 2, and during Max Vibes...
That's 10 turns set up for you

We probably won't have to reset for Turn 2-3 Max Vibes thanks to the ring. Now we have the option (though not 100% necessary of course) to reset for a good Hot Topic

Alright, so... one of the reasons they were bad before, was that unselected topics were discarded before. So the Feel Ring could summon Hot Topics for you and then they're gone regardless of whether you used them or not (and regardless of whether they were there on a turn where Hot Topics are useful or not)
Now, after the recent update, unselected topics are returned to the pool and can pop back up again later.
So if you leave the Hot Topics unselected, the Feel Ring can bring them back to you over and over until you finally use them

You can go as deep as you want to risk it - I'd say 80 max, not worth 10% of affection, you have 30% chance to be dropped at 70% attention.

I think silver keys give a better return-on-investment if you're primarily using silver gifts instead of gold gifts

You only get two turns of not leaving, and those turns are Max Vibes turns. As soon as it's over, it's over.
So leaving right after MV ended is fair game.

Hm. There's one way to check...
Force-close the app during Max Vibes without completing it about a hundred times and see if any of them cause you to have "finished" the interaction

And... I don't think it can do the dropout before Max Vibes is over, since it has to save the results

No, any unit you have can be used for expeditions

Leveling friendship is a separate lodge activity

I recommend focusing on grinding Rare Cache (the chests) from expeditions. There should be recommended teams on pins

If you don't have those pairs, you can use replacements by filtering units that Increase Rare Cache

For starters, your goal is to be able to unlock all 6 expedition slots. It gets much easier from there

Though I set it up to go into Jan 1 with 7 Interactions stockpiled, +3 for Jan 1 itself so I had 10, and then +3 in the shop for 13 Interactions on the first day

Its drop rate isn't innately different, to our knowledge

There are some recommended teams in a spreadsheet in one of the pins...
Ideally, you try to go for 10RareCache on every team, and try to stack a different color to 8+ on each team

I don't know how well-developed your roster is, though

Rare Caches are the sole source of the tier4 Crystals for buying extra Interactions, you see

They also give a good yield for Tier3 and Tier2 crystals

And, yeah, we should currently have three expedition team slots atm

Slot A, Slot B, and Slot Special (for the seasonal event)

Slot B has bonuses to Blue and Rare
Special has different bonuses each time it appears; I believe currently it has bonuses to Yellow and Rare

A for Rare+Red
B for Blue+Red
Special for Yellow+Red

Red+Rare and Yellow+Rare aren't that difficult to reach 10&10 each
Blue+Rare is kind of a nightmare because of how the Expedition stats are distributed on the characters we have so far

If you're very new, you might not be able to reach 10&10... then at least try 8&10 as mentioned

Champion Serena and Champion Calem, if they're still here, would be very helpful in the upcoming Kalos event

Lillie's base skillset is very powerful, so she's great at 1/5-- and one of few characters who can competently attack with the Fairy type

You could but i don't think there's any point in theorycrafting expeditions, you should just fill the slots with what you have until you hit 10 or close (with an item usage)
