Problem with the Ring is that... the first two turns cost no Attention so you don't need Hot Topics for them, and two turns of Max Vibes also cost no attention so you still don't need Hot Topics for them
So that's 4 turns out of the 6 or 7 where the Ring's Hot Topics are wasted

With 10 Rare, you should have plenty of Tier4 stones to buy extra interactions daily

If you didn't have 6 slots and optimized teams until just recently, you probably couldn't afford them until now... But you can do that going forward

Meta method: Use Specs, Shovel, and Ring.
On turn 2, pick a Hot Topic if there is one. If there isn't one, or the Hot Topic does not generate Max Vibes, close and reopen the app to reset and get your stuff refunded-- and then try again until you do get Max Vibes on exactly Turn 2.

My method: Use Specs, Shovel, and Juice.
On turns 1 and 2, avoid Hot Topics. On Turn 3, definitely pick a Hot Topic. If there is no Hot Topic on Turn 3, reset.

My method: Also guarantees you reach turn 5 but with around -4% to -6% attention, and you will have a better distribution of Hot Topics for the rest of the convo

No convo option will spawn more than once per convo, even if you did not select it
The Feel Ring will eat all the Hot Topics on turns where Hot Topics don't even matter (i.e. Turn 1 and 2, where there is no Attention drain for a Hot Topic to reduce, and the two turns of Max Vibes-- where there is also no Attention drain for a Hot Topic to reduce)

I did Lillie coz she is one of my favs and I think comfey is quite interesting if not strong. Not able to decide the next one tho after narrowing it down between blue and cynthia.
As a char, i like cynthia more than blue. But I also don't like gastrodon. Prefer exeggutor over gastrodon as a pokemon.

Gastrodon is probably a high C tier unit. AOE crit buff, Sdef buff, and move gauge speed is great.

It suffers from it's main attack being gauge hungry (you want a support like this running low demand spammable move) and it's only sustain being First Aide on the grid.

I really like it, but I run a lot of Mono-Type teams. Overall kind of a middling unit. I recommend using it on one of these teams:
Gastrodon/Groudon/egg sandslash
Gastrodon/Nidoking/Camerupt
Both teams were easy 2k clears

Alternatively, I think Gastrodon is good in rain. Especially against opponents that set the rain for you, thanks to group water guard.

I think mv in first turn is fine, since securing high points in the first rounds is a plus. Totally rng. My lowest run with that is with my first unit, 36/10pts r1-3. I also exp. where it dropped early at 6th-7th round.
