There’s no difference between lv7 and 8. I would exchange a level 8 back to level 7, and transfer that point to another level 8 to be 9.
So 7/7/9 for example (any combination)

The Lodge:

• Each reset, you'll receive a gift from the last trainer you interacted with.
• You can manipulate who gifts you an item by uninviting all guests except for one, to receive a higher rarity gift from your high leveled friends. This can be done anytime before you accept the gift (even while it's active with an icon present).
• You earn Lodge Stones by gaining one level with a invited guest
• Increasing the Level Cap of an Invited Guest will grant more Level Up opportunities for Lodge Stones
• Score high in Interactions by Selecting Super Exciting Topics
• Attention Loss is halved for selecting Hot Topics even if it is less than Super Exciting Topics
• A random item can be found lying on the ground of the Expedition teams areas once per reset.
• Form Expedition Teams to Unlock your Team Slots first before focusing on Rare Caches

Interactions with Guests:

• You get 3 Interactions per reset across all sync pairs. (can purchase 3 additional interactions each reset)
• You require 1 item per interaction, if you do multiple interactions the item requirement is multiplied by the same amount.
  -- e.g. 3 Interactions simultaneously requires 3 Insight Specs & 3 Gifts
• Max Vibes can be entered by selecting Topics matching the Hot Topic. (Up to 5 topics without Boost Juice)
• Max Vibes can only occur once per interaction, entering it later in the Conversation grants more Points, but is riskier.
• Selecting Hot topics halves the Attention % dropped. So pick them even if they're less points than Super Exciting topics.
• The Attention % remaining means how likely they are to continue to interaction.
• Once a Topic is selected and the Attention % decreases a roll is done to determine if the Interaction will end or not.
• You can reset an entire interaction by closing the game before the interaction ends. This can only be done before you select the topic for the given turn, doing so after can result in the interaction being counted or rendered as null (0 points & no refund).
