I often run one of the self-sustaining damage dealers (like LuSSa) with a support that can help them out, would it be better to queue with her TM first or the support (usually a speed buffer with LuSSa)

it really depends on the team comp
you gotta queue first any move in priority that would use gauge so your regeneration starts faster

there are many little tricks involved sometimes animation speed or things like poison/weather/trap can delay turns slightly giving you more time to regenerate gauge

all in all the orthodox way is basically to accomodate proper triple queue to your team comp and you can gauge that only by testing it with each team properly

it's more apparent when you use 4 gauge moves how queueing in a certain order affects how you can triple queue
