This is the real problem. Different methods work for different people. Some like having a faves list and then they don’t value any pairs that aren’t favs which removes temptation. A good strategy is just closing the scout screen or closing the app. I personally think knowing the odds is really helpful, if you know that you’re not even gonna have a probable chance of getting something like a master fair until you have 24-36k gems, then it becomes a lot easier to not spend that 3k because chances are it’ll be a waste and you’ll feel bad afterwards

BTW, the new Champion Stadium parameters have all been a great addition and they require 0 investment for players with knowledge of the game and a deep rooster
They have however highlighted the need for more supports on my end, mostly for efficiency reason. Unfortunately, the only big support name that I’m missing is HJasmine, which I aim to get as a select down the line.
So in the next coming months I’ll be on the look out for new strong support units, especially with incorporated weather and/or zone, which may be a good addition to my teams. Hope to see Alola VA deliver some of my faves in this role, since as of right now I feel like I’m okay with all my striker and tech needs, and am currently working on 3 units of each type to candy to 3/5
