if you want, sure, there isn't really a correct answer, crits from enemies are not particularly common anyway, you can ignore it completely if you so choose
Well one of the other options is often Adrenaline 1 which I think is easier to pick up in the grid
If you are traditional, give him Vigilance
Nowadays it's not that useful, especially with a unit like him with so much bulk, damage reductions and healing

And I don't think you'll want to use Potion much having her in the team
Is BP Falkner’s sync nuke that good? I see the doc recommends CS2, but I would have assumed Vigilance since he seems to be more utility than damage
If you dont use him for damage there is no reason to give him CS2

SS Blue gets status immunity and first aid 4. SS Red gets steadfast & sync thinker, SS Leaf gets toxic freebie and venomous 2
None of them are hugely impactful

On the stage, your parameters, your units
If they do constant aoe then you'd rather heal the team
If you pick half HP parameters you would really appreciate FA4
If your team likes to be in certain range of HP you might even want to avoid healing them
Who would be the better choice for 2 strike candies between 1/5 cynthia and garchomp and 1/5 giovanni and nidoking?
Strictly mechanically speaking probably SS Giovanni since he’d cover Ground + 2 other types as opposed to Cynthia only covering Ground
There’s not really a wrong answer though, Cynthia wants candies much more than SS Giovanni and either one would be great at 3/5

It helps in CSMM if you choose offensive playstyle and some fast paced content with hard hitting moves. You can save a preset for switching between 2 builds

Every stage has aoe sync tho, and Endurance cant save you from sync moves

It's basically his main generic grid, preserves the team from a strong AoE and allow to go very offensive without worrying too much about dying. I'd recommend having this one in your preset, can be used whenever you don't really need a specific thing

+2 crit and +4 defense is a choice. I think letting him top off a physical mon is his best bet. A lot of my most used eggmons are +6 speed and +2 to attack or special attack since they deal with gauge and finish buffs for my damage dealer(s). So I feel like berserk bunch with mp refresh route will almost always be the way to go. That was he can also max out crit if you reset for refresh.
Unbending and healthing healing +potions is good for gauntlet so ya know.
I also tried a the first air route since he does actually heal himself a lot and dropped healthy healing for speed boosts. The only other viable grid I can think of is MAYBE something like this

It’s not bad. But it could be better. And also a lot of his nodes are very situational like team sync cure. Also I kinda hate tighten/toughen up since I tried to run them on OG Lillie way back when and they helped out approx 0% of the time. Unless it’s a 9 it’s no.

For those who don’t have fighting zone I made a slightly tweaked 3/5 Rei that still uses a fighting zone tile but only because it’s needed
Just to clarify, the grid examples take a zone tile just cause it's on the path, not to necessarily use it (though it's welcomed when applicable, in which case I prefer the acceleration than the healing)
In your case since you take both berserker and MPR I'm assuming you're skipping another sync tile for this, which I wouldn't recommend honestly

And you can just pick TM MPR instead, which maxes defense on the way

you can reset the grid yes, but you cant revert the exclusive sync orbs back to the general ones
Ahh so we have to spend them on the unit itself. I guess then it should be fine for top units who i can candy later & resuse the exclusive orbs
if you dont have many units built, its recommended to grid Legendary Adventures units and some 3 and 4* first
If you don't have any shortage of orbs, there's no downside to grid 1/5 units

For future reference, Ramming Speed and its other stat variants all cap at +30% damage, while a damage modifier of (Passive Name) X gives +X% damage, with X being equal to 10 x the number on the passive

I got these units currently at 1/5 or 2/5, (plus fall Roxanne) and I think it’s time to pop a candy or two as I got 6 striker candies, 6 tech candies, and 3 support candies. Are any of these units worth candying? Only one that really pops into my head is I know Gloria gets really good with a 5/5 grid, but 3/5 is my limit per unit, 5/5 just requires way too much investment

Alder maybe? Because he’s my only relevant bug type (though I’m considering pulling for SS hilbert in the current banner), and sometimes struggle on bug weak stages
with great support like NC Blue and another Bug type dmg dealer, you can make 1/5 Alder clearing stages without much trouble
if you want to double candy Alder, you should wait until you finally decide to pull SS Hilbert or not
I mean honestly, I have enough units where I don’t think I particularly struggle with any stage (though I struggled with the Unova buddies unite stage and it was the first stage in probably over a year I couldn’t clear, cause I don’t have any limited Unova electric types and my Elesa is not EX)

I have yeah, but I don’t love the tier list as it’s laid out in kind of a vague way I don’t have SS silver but just for example, for 3/5 tech it says SS silver is the most valuable unit to get to 3/5 and Dojo Gloria is the second best unit…but SS silver has a purple background, which would imply that he already has what he needs at his base kit, whereas Dojo Gloria has a white background which would mean that she does not have what she needs at base
So it’s kinda confusing about why it recommends candying silver over Gloria when silvers kit is sufficient at 1/5 supposedly but Gloria’s isn’t

It's up to you, do you think you'll be using the Synchro Healing/Vigilance grid a lot? If so then the LS is redundant. But if you're mostly going to be using a different build that doesn't have Vigilance on grid, then it works as a LS
I find that Zapdos has a lot of useful tiles, so I wouldn’t want to spend energy on Vigilance. So I kept Vigilance, but I’m also not a fan of constantly switching lucky skills.

Just keep in mind that Roost can heal status effects. Although it can lead to awkward timing, and it’s also annoying if you’re trying to use Roost to heal paralysis but you get fully paralyzed

I don’t think it’s about energy or needing flinch, but rather if you’re barely using Tackle then you would prefer to use energy on something else, like Adr1 at least for CS

I guess there's just so "many possibilities" with this upgrade. Personally, as Racer said I'm not using tackle much now since I could take half HP, heal more and use the TM more. Also, finally using TM barricade buddies for some extra bulk during the first 3 moves against special stages.

Honestly, any sync accel for SSAC is very useful, as it will allow zone to be up when she syncs next. I’m also sure that’s why Sprint EX Role is super helpful for her.

Status/Interference Immunity are niche passives, if you want to look for passives with more general usage, Head Start / Adrenaline then

A lot of "optimal" grids only need like a few more energy to grab all the good tiles
10 extra energy would make a lot of sense, and I doubt it’ll go past that much
There are so many examples of prime grids being like 1 or 2 energy short

Speedster sync 3 boosts it by 30%
So sync is 330
But with the 1st grid it’s 350
So first grid is better
Well that’s not exactly how it works
You have Brainpower and I assume CS2 as LS, so a 2.2 multiplier
If you have SS3 then it would be 2.5
So the difference would be 2.5 * 300 / 2.2 * 350
=0.97 so second option is stronger, but not for much
That’s at 5/5, the lower the move level the more impactful sync BP nodes are
Even a +1 or +2 increase could mean a lot to certain units (of course not all, some would really need a +5 or more increase). I assume we'll be getting something around +5/+10 which is already substantial.
Honestly not sure how I'll approach it but probably just not update old units at first and go over time with new releases/boosts and occasionally revisit some stuff on spare time. wait and see 
I think that, the max energy upgrade would be per sync pair. so you'll have to unlock that. D:

You’re unlikely to need any Move Gauge Refresh tiles and you’ve picked up exactly 0 of Riley’s modifiers
I’d honestly suggest ignoring the bottom-left quadrant of Riley’s grid in its entirety for most circumstances
Something like this? I wanna keep Unbending and Stalwart to avoid being one shot by anything with Insult to Injury.
With Riley the goal should be basically a speedrun clear and very few stages have Insult to Injury modifier. I’d recommend trying him without Unbending/Stalwart
At worst you should probably only pick one or the other depending on the stage

Critical Strike 2 or Mind Games 2 are what I’ve been thinking
Mind Games 2 is very expensive so don’t give it to him unless you expect to use him a ton

Just pick BP and stat tiles
You’re better off using a different support like Misty or SS Blue who are decent offtype and actually good as tanks

Also really depends on playstyle, like if you prefer sleep spam with TM1 or more aggressively with a different LS (but we’ll be able to change playstyle with more ease with LS presets)
