you won't really know. if you have more than one unit of a double role bonus and it appears multiple times, either save them or use just one on an early stage

like if you have 3x support tech, it's hard to use all three in one round. because of bonus multiplier. So use one of them on an early stage, and save the other 2 for later. as an example

• is super effective against Darach
• has very good dmg and boosts allies' attacks, especially on Palmer
