#Irregular fine bumps on curved surfaces on a custom 600mm V-Core 4.1 IDEX

Hoping someone here has seen this before. I've been chasing it for a while and I'm running out of ideas.
I'm fairly sure I've seen something very similar posted in here before, but I can't find the thread again.
Build
• V-Core 4.1 IDEX, custom 600 x 600mm travel
• Z: ballscrews with WobbleX
• Misumi MGN12 linear rails, light preload, all axes
• CNC aluminium toolheads, Funssor xy joiner
• Orbiter 2.5 extruder, Rapido 2 UHF hotend
• Heated chamber

The problem
Very fine vertical „bumbs“ on the outer perimeter. Very obvious on round objects. Spacing is irregular. The position shifts from layer to layer. So it's not a fixed periodic pattern tied to a position.
Clearly worse in Y. On pure X moves it's much less pronounced. Diagonals show it too.

What I've already checked / tried
• Belt tension set with GATS, tested between 3 and 4kg. More tension = noticeably worse. Surface gets rougher and curves get bumpy.
• Found my belts aren't identical: Y and T1 measure 1.53mm thick, T0 measures 1.32mm — Looks like T0 is a different belt. Planning to swap it.
• At higher tension the toolhead becomes stiff and notchy to move by hand.

Notch in X or Y movements?

Both, but Y is clearly the worst.
