Hello dear Rat Rig enthusiasts, i recently built a Vcore 4.1 Idex 500 system and cant get it running in any way normally. Aka extreme ghosting, VFAs all over it no matter what print speed (VFA tower 40 too 200mm/s) and what acceleration (2000-3000 at max). Retightened every bolt 250 times, gantry is perfectly square after getting everything on 84/87 Hz. Inputshaper on x looks good on y rather meh (guess normal for a IDEX), but nothing a 2 HUMP couldnt get rid off. After making some videos on the gantry and toolhead movement i noticed some stuttering on the linear rails (no i didnt took the carriage of until that point) which was also prominent without the belts on. So after getting stuck at the same point for over two weeks and hundreds of hours on the same problem i decided to remove the gantry and check the linear rails. Set up a box and removed the Carriage which had at least on the x axis, still every ball in it (on the y theres one missing on one side but its stuttering like the one on x with every ball in it), opened it up cleaned it (maybe some factory residue or sth.) and put it back together. Nothing changed remotely on the stuttering. Now my question: could you look at the stuttering and tell me if its even remotely like it should behave or if that could be the source of my demise. Any other suggestions would be awesome since otherwise i am at the end of my wisdom.
#Linear Rail Smoothness and Ghosting in Prints

Do you need a lot of strength to move the sled?
How tight did you tighten the M3 screws?
Does the rail feel the same when you remove it from the X gantry?
Thanks for the answer the screws are completely lose and so is the linear rail. Its not much force that i need its just a small resistance, but i noticed that i dont have that when i put the carriage from the x rail to the y rail, and have blockage when i put the carriage from the y rail to the x, even tho it should have a lighter fit. So i suspect sths wrong with the rail itself and not the carriage
