#Generally crappy bridges…could any saint with decent bridging post their “standard” Orca settings?

Hey all! So bridging has been a recurring pain point for me across many filaments. Some have been better than others, but none are all that great. The standard Orca RR profiles just don’t seem to work very well for me for whatever reason. So I’m wondering if there happens to be any kind soul out there who:

1). Has a Rapido 2, Orbiter v2, & a 4028 fan
2). Uses OrcaSlicer
and 3). Feels like they’ve gotten their bridging dialed in pretty solid

that who would be willing to post their slicer settings…at least their “starting point” that generally works ok and can be iterated upon.

Specifically, I’d really love to see the settings under:

1). Speed > Overhang speed > Bridge (mine is currently 60mm/s)
and 2). All settings under Quality > Bridging

Thank you!!!

i dont have rapido, i have chube. these are what i use with sunlu pla+ 2.0 @ 225 degrees and it work very nicely for me. hope this helps or at least give you a decent starting point.

Run some bridging tests. I have rapido 2F with 0.5 nozzle, I believe stock settings were the best on my setup for PLA after the cooling fan speeds were dialed in.

I get the best bridges by using 150% flow and 30mm/s speed, and 50% part fan. Of course ymmv

Watch this, I think 3 videos and run the tests on your machine. Bridge density is your friend. I tested yesterday and was able to print 400mm internal bridge after tuning it in with perfect surface

Here is a set of experiments I used to completely revamp how I handle bridges in my prints. These experiments were completed with a Bambu X1C with a 0.4mm nozzle and replicated across several Matte and Basic PLA filaments.
