I am trying to get the accelerometer on my freshly installed beacon to work. There is no ADXL conneted currently.

ACCELEROMETER_QUERY reports "accelerometer values (x, y, z): -459.534933, 229.767466, 9343.876971"

but MEASURE_AXES_NOISE throws an error "Invalid adxl345 id (got ff vs e5)."

and ACCELEROMETER_QUERY CHIP="beacon beacon" gets me another error "The value 'beacon beacon' is not valid for CHIP"

Ok I found the "error" when using the configurator to select the beacon it did not show me the beacon accelerometer as an option, just mcu or host.

Running the configuration a second time after I did set up the beacon showed the beacon as an option there

It is recommended to leverage your toolboards ADXL if you have a toolboard. The reason being is the mount for the beacon is not in the best place to measure resonance and its not as strong of a mount as the toolboards mount typically. When the VC4 just came out, I was chasing all sorts of ghosts as I though I was supposed to use beacon and as soon as I switched over to the toolboard everything looked great.
