I cannot seem to make this spike go away. I squared up the frame. I tension the belts to about 16lbf. I made sure pulleys weren't binding. I am at a loss. I hope I'm not just having a brain fart moment. 💩

It's a V-Core 4 400 IDEX.

Binding would be my first guess.
Because there is some "crosstalk" in the X movement causing Y to also want to move. Any binding as X moves will induce a larger force on Y thus causing a bigger spike.

Even just an idler that's a little stiffer to turn because it's rubbing could be an issue. Also binding of the X-carriage due to alignment or lubricant.

This design is very reliant on everything moving freely.

You don't have a peak at 125Hz, which many other including me have (also 400 IDEX). Did you actively do something to not get that peak? Do you have an enclosure?

I do not have an enclosure. I'm not sure what I did that would get rid of that peak
