it doesn't recognize anything but the octopus now, have had the printer in a "functioning state" for months now. but I can no longer use COnfigurator. or real time analysis.

What errors are you getting? What happens if you try to use configurator? Got a debug.zip?

What version of ratos? How is it stopping you from passing the octopus page? Extruders do have a motor so that last makes sense

Previously I thought they were associated with the Toolboard
0-7 (-1) were associated with Z,X,Y

I would suggest looking at the printer.cfg then
if you want to look at different configurator pages, you can change that "page" up in the address bar
or click the different stops on the right side panel

I can look at it but I won't be able to tell if anything is wrong unless you've manually edited and done something truly bizarre
But if you're having a specific problem and can describe it I'll try to investigate

I have had to edit stuff for the magbed and use contact, also safe z, because it ran the toolhead bed etc... I have since then re aligned and tightened everything, gone through the Commissioning process a few times >_<

Have you been able to home the machine, and do a z-tilt?

yes it does those perfect 90% of the time, I was headed in a really good direction, making great forward progress. Got to zv,mzv,2hump... was getting super awesome first layers.... then it started changing the z offset and i had to recalibrate, and i tried to do some idex prints and the T1 kept slapping T0 and I have Done VAOC calibrations and reset it etc... now its a hot mess again and im trying to start from zero
anyways, thanks for letting me vent. If you have any insight i would love to read it. I have other responsibilities to attend to. THANK YOU
