#Benchy Bow Curling

I'm attempting to increase my print speed with PLA+ on my Vcore 3.1 (Eva 3.0, 4048 fan with mosquito hotend and orbiter v2.5). Previously I've been able to print a benchy at about 34 min without any artifacts but I'm trying to achieve a 20 min benchy. I'm having issues with the bow curling up during printing. I'm also running into a problem with orca slicer limiting my flow rate lower than what I've set it to (changing to 0.2mm layer height fixes this).

Things I've tried: reduce temp from 220 down to 215,210,205. Enablling and disabling overhang slow down at curled perimeters.

  • 2 perimeters, 10% infill, 3 bottom and top layers. 0.25mm layer height, 0.4mm width.
  • 500mm/s outer wall speed at 8500mm/s2. Overhand speeds are set to default.
  • 24mm3/s max flow.
  • Fan speed set to 100%, min layer time set to 0

More cooling!

Also check if the hotend fan is spooling up fast enough to actually cool when it is in the overhang area
