#Trouble understanding head selection and temp settings in Mainsail using Orcaslicer

Hi everyone, and thank you for any help on this. I have created a temp tower to print using T1 and it is printing using the correct head. My question is about Mainsail and extruder heating. Initially T0 and T1 came up to temp BUT now T0 is dropping in temp for the temp tower, T1 is stuck at 230deg C, just backwards and weird. T0 shouldn't even heat if not being used to print. I followed the Orcaslicer setup putting in all of the gcode for an IDEX printer and filament. Any ideas? Thanks!

your best option is to use prusa slicer, it has better support for idex as of right now

That is consistently what I have heard also, that PS has the best/only good IDEX solution for now
