i dont know what caused this. i moved houses and after that the printer hasnt been the same. the temp graphs seem to be really inconsistent.

Triple check thermistor connections, maybe drafts? Is that temp while the printhead was stationary?

That's cause it's trying to catch it up when it's getting a bad reading. Definitely check the wiring, lightly tug on each wire

its definitely a wiring issue

i doubt however that it is the thermistor wiring. I have a feeling that it is the wire that extends the short thermistor wire

That's still thermistor wiring in my book.
Not sure, what connector is it terminated into? Or have a pic?
