HI all. How to install RatOs 2.1 (I'm in the 2.02-36 ) on a vcore 3.1 to be able to use beacon contact? And do you know if it is possible to connect to the printer with the Internet to access mainsail from anywhere?

Mine's a VC4, but from what I read you can use the latest RatOS on your VC3, which supports the Beacon. Here's the link to the latest RatOS 2.1 RC2

If you have port forwarding set up on your router, you can indeed access the printer from the internet.

Your home router has an Internet WAN IP address (like 41.3.208.5) and an internal LAN address (like 192.168.1.1).
Your ratrig has an address on the same LAN (like 192.168.1.8).
In the router’s port forwarding table, enter the ratrig’s LAN address (192.168.1.8) and also enter a port number of your choosing. You can google appropriate port numbers, but you can use something like 50000 or 60000.
To access your printer from the outside via the internet, in your remote browser URL bar you would enter: 41.3.208.5:50000 (notice the colon between the IP addr and the port number)
When your home router receives your request on its WAN address and it additionally sees the :50000, it routes the incoming traffic to the LAN address associated with port 50000 in its port forwarding table.
I’m not saying port 50000 is the best choice, and I’m not saying you should have your printer hanging on the internet. That’s between you and the networking/security gurus. And if your WAN IP address gets changed by your ISP, you won’t be able to access the printer from the outside until you discover your router's new WAN IP. That’s where a DDNS service comes in.

wow man, thank you, I'll look into it because I would love to send it to print from my work, from what I see, version 2.1 for vc3 is not completely ready yet because it says pre-release, right? I'm sorry for not responding but at work it got intense and I hadn't had time, but thank you very much.

You can try a zero tier network. Should work normally on the pi, set up and connect on the remote device (smartphone) as well. Then you should have access from anywhere. Should also be a safer option than simply port forwarding and opening the router and firewall.

A quick google search for zero tier mainsail will give you some instructions.

For some reason I didn't see your reply a week ago. All versions of 2.1 are considered pre-release so far, but many, many people are running it. It is currently up to RC2 - release candidate 2 - and about to go to RC3 from what I've read.
