What printer is it, how big, any mods?
Without any more info Id say it looks fine. Your accellerations will be limited by Y anyways so as long as that doesn't improve Im not sure why X would need to be narrower than it is.
do you use couplers between the idlers and steppers?
I'd look into the belt paths, you might have unequal length and / or tension. Default belts from Ratrig or did you replace them?
When you move your X to 150 and Y to 300, measure the frequency of each belt. If you have a good ear for audio frequency (like youre used to tuning a guitar) use your ears to hear if they are equal and use your phone with an app to get an idea of the range (they are very inaccurate). For a 300, get them between 86 Hz and 100 Hz. If you use couplers on your steppers with double bearings (top/bottom of the idlers) , you might go a tad higher but I wouldn't advise going over 120 Hz. If you need to tighten one belt more than the other to get the peaks to line up, it means one belt is longer than the other.
to test the frequency, pluck the belt. Pick it between thumb and a finger and gently pluck it. It should sound clear and not distorted. if its distortign youre plucking it too hard
this may sound crazy (I am a bit :P) if you use your ears to match, turn your head and use 1 ear to hear both. Ears are different and if you listen to one belt left, and the other right it will almost always sound different. Turn your head 😉
after tensioning, always home to distribute the tension properly
