#Print job gets paused waiting for filament

My RatOS 2 V-Core3 har suddenly started with this annoying habit of going though all the motions when starting a print, including homing, tilt, mesh prime blob and then it parks itself at X250 Y500 and prompts me to load filament despite me already having done so. If I oblige and then resume the job it proceeds normally.

It did not do this before. I may very well have changed something while working with the printer without realising it would affect this.

I typically select the PETG heater profile and then "Load filament" with a suitable temperature.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I checked the Gcode for the print and found this before the start of the print:

;COLOR_CHANGE,T0,#6EBB38
; custom gcode: color_change_gcode
M600
; custom gcode end: color_change_gcode

I guess that is responsible for this behaviour meaning that this is more a superslicer support issue. I have a "Color change gcode" defined in the printer settings as M600 but that is nothing new and until now nothing I have really reflected upon. Question is why the slicer has started to issue an M600 at the start of the print.

Did you maybe click in the + in the preview (next to the layer #)? Did you play around with the slicer settings? (multi extruder setup…)

yeah you probably clicked in the slicer interface and added a change filament color or something. I would close your slicer, reopen it and reslice your object
