Hello guys. I'm Petru, a 3D artist, currently a student. I model 3D guns, made official content for Counter Strike 2 (Tec9 Slag) and want to make art for the next Cyberpunk or Half Life. You can see my work on https://www.artstation.com/petru5 or https://x.com/EinMeister5 (wips).

Context:
I get very easily overwhelmed by clutter, because I have to move a lot and want it to be as easy as possible, unsorted mess and mass of decorations makes me uneasy. I am currently 2000km from home. I also don't want to overstimulate my brain, so I can focus it on what's important. This is a big reason why I don't have a second monitor or tons of RGB. I also move my furniture around once few months to not get bored, so the non perfect cable management is meant for flexibility.

Peripherals:

  • Elgato Wave:3 microphone. I actually switched to an Elgato mic from a HyperX Quadcast that worked just fine simply because it looked too distracting and silly with its RGB. I like the wave's sleek design, and I like that I don't have to install any software for it to work well.
  • Stream Deck and facecam MK2, but it's not in the pic right now as I forgot them home, will bring them next time I visit.
  • Logitech Lightspeed 2.
  • Qck Heavy mousepad.
  • Keychron K3 Max
  • Sennheiser HD6XX headphones with a Fosi DS1 mini DAC & AMP. Open backs are the most comfortable for long term use.
  • Alienware 27 inch IPS. Size works just fine. Dell usually makes good monitors.

Specs:

  • McPrue Apollo S 4.0 case, good quality replica of the apple cheesegrater. Small form factor computer so I can travel home and back with it when I need to. I don't like glass panels, I don't like RGB either. If I had enough stability not to have to move around I would've built it in a modded 2005 gray retro computer case, sleeper build.
  • It packs a Ryzen 9 7950x3D, which is not popular among gamers because of its significant price increase without real gaming benefits over the Ryzen 7 7800x3d. Gaming, however, is not my main usage of this computer, I do various multicore work tasks, where the 32 threads come in very useful.
  • The GPU is a RTX 4080 Asus ProArt, the most compact version of the 4080.
    • 64 GB RAM, bought before OpenAI, but don't tell them, they will come take it from me.
  • Asus ROG B650E-I ITX motherboard
  • Corsair SF750 (2018) PSU
  • PSU Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 with 2 Silent Wings Pro 4 fans
  • 3 Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 case fans.
Fans don't match because I bought the fans at different times and it's not worth it to spend extra money for the full Noctua look.
