Sound settings (right click sound icon)> recording> double click wave link stream/monitor (I did both, one at a time, and both seemed to do the job)> listen tab> check listen to device + select "playback through this device"

Like I said, I haven't tested for repercussions and I now have a bunch of audio devices showing up through the wave xlr soundboard that I don't need but wont go away... but I THINK I did it. 🤷🏿‍♂️

i have this problem a long time , but maybe something changed or there is a fix now...
i am having a dual pc setup.

Game Pc with a 3840x2160 monitor attached via displayport and a hdmi cable going to the 4kpro capture card
Stream pc with 2 1080p monitors and the capture card

The Game PC is set to duplicate the screen so it is on the monitor and transfers to the capture card.
When starting a game in full screen the caputre card shows "no signal" for a short time and because of that the game pc does some weird resolution stuff.
when using borderless window everything is fine.

already tried the edid settings monitor and intern, but both didnt helped. BUT Setting the edid resolution to 1080p works...
but i would like to have 4k. Turning of the game pc monitor works too...

Someone has an idea how to fix this?

Hey I made a multi action button on streamdeck and it has some hide and show sources with delays but I want this to go on and on for hours and so far I copied the actions inside the multi action and pasted 3 times but if I want it for hours I will need to redo this like 2-300 times and it’s not ideal as the delays are 30-50 seconds long

I have just hooked up my HD60S+ and its all set for iPad and Switch games, and everything in the 4KCU is working perfectly. but I have added and removed the source, and restarted both OBS and 4KCU in about a million different orders and all I get is a black output in OBS.

I reinstalled Windows and with it Wave Link.
Now the Software says i should plug in my Wave-Device.

It is plugged in, it lights up. I didn't changed the USB-Slot while reinstalling windows.

i tried the beta version and the normal one of Wave Link.

Any Idea what i could try next?

Hey, ya'll. I just booted up my PC and my Wave Link software had reset itself, requiring me to go through the setup again. It seems most of the audio channels are still linked to the sources, but I was wondering if there's a way to backup the settings so, when this happens again, I can just easily restore from a backup?

It would be ideal if I could backup VST settings, as well.

Hey having a small Issue with macros, the hotkeys im putting to run on elgato stream deck, super macro, they don’t actually trigger anything in the game, like ctrl z for example

I press a stream deck action hot key to trigger ctrl X and that works

But if I put that to run in the super macro it won’t trigger ctrl X

It will do everything else

Even if I put Alt Tab to tab into the game

And then do ctrl X

It will still not trigger the key even if the game is in focus

But a normal stream deck action hotkey will

I have the Elgato HD60 S+

It worked in OBS Studio for a brief moment. It would flash blue then red. I went and disabled HDCP (I'm using PS4). The display shows on my monitor but OBS can't detect the Elgato HDS whatever BUT it does have the screen link option. I tried unplugging everything for about a minute then reconnecting with no sucess.

Hi, I'm building a dual-pc streaming/recording setup and I'm confused as to what kind of capture card I should use. I've looked at elgato 60, 60s, 60s+ and other different capture cards but I'm having trouble figuring out what I should use for my setup? Also, if there are more expensive options like elgato compared to some no-name brand what difference is there anyway if they are all at 1080p 60fps? I mean, I only need 1080p 60fps so 4k is not a selling point for me.

Hello there. I'm a new Elgato user. I've just bought a Facecam however I'm facing the following issue: with the auto white balance my skin is too blu (2500K) while with the manual white balance my skin is too orange as the minimum temperature is 2800k. Is there a way to manually set the colour temperature to something below 2800K? I'm using a mac with Big Sur if it changes something. Thanks in advance for your help guys and have a nice evening.

Hi, is there any support for dual stream setup using the stream deck? I have it connected to my stream PC but want to window switch on my other computer and use it for editing and other features on my game PC without unplugging and replugging.
Only way I though that'd make it the most seamless would be to get a usb switch but that seems convoluted.
I use Mouse without Borders so it feels like I'm using only one computer but it's obviously 2 computers.

Yo, for some reason my Wave Link isn't outputting to the stream mix, only to my headphones

so you can only use voicemod on pc. your capture card will output the audio to your streaming software ex: "obs" through HDMI IN, from your capture card. So your viewers will hear the voicemod changes. If you're using party chat, then you'll need to put your capture card in analog audio mode. Your party chat will not hear voicemod effects, but your viewers will. Also The headset used for console will not be used for PC. PC needs a mic of it's own for your viewers to hears you.

If you’re wanting to hear both console and pc audio at the same time. Connect your headset to the pc and you’re going to need a sound card connected to your console, that has a mic and headphone jack, connect a aux to the headphone jack and into the line in on the pc, this will give you your console audio, and you can connect a aux from the line out on the pc to the mic jack on the sound card, therefore you can use voicemod on the console. You may need some ground loop isolators (gli) to help the static noise, but this way you can hear both systems and use one mic for both the console and pc at the same time. Then go into sound settings and make sure for your mic/line out listen to this device is checked

i have an elgato HD60 S+ and got it hooked up to a switch with a hdmi to the IN port. Then in the OUT port i have a hdmi plugged into my tv. using a 4K60 Pro Mk 2, and my capture is being periodically interrupted by the "No Signal" screen with elgato window for less than a second, roughly anywhere from every 5-30 seconds, average of maybe every 10 sec. The passthrough is not affected which is really confusing cause it suggests there's no problem with the signal or the cables. Why is the capture card failing to capture for these brief amounts of time? Last night it ran for several hours without this issue but now it's a problem. any ideas?

ive tried restarting the pc, replugging everything, and I confirmed that the system requirements say it needs to go into a pcie x4 slot, which I'm using this exact motherboard pictured and this specific slot pointed at with my giant red arrow, which is an x4 slot

Since latest software update, my Stream Deck software will just "crash." I'll stay on my SD Screen Saver but become unresponsive. I have to exit the software and relaunch. This can happen 3-7 times per day. I have so far updated firmware, I have reinstalled the software and so far have not swapped USB ports which is next on the list. Windows Event Viewer is not finding issues. So I am wondering; anyone else have this issue? I had this before on an old PC< but that was a dying USB port and other issues were evident and I saw issues in event viewer. So slightly different this go around.

While trying to fix my stream pc and main pc. I disconnected one of the displays on my main pc (Dual Monitor setup). Now whenever my Elgato 4k pci card is plugged into my main pc I lose connection to one of my monitors and when I try to have it duplicate it flickers my second monitor and won't detect my main monitor. I can't make it switch from "Disconnect this display" And the Elgato only wants to capture on second monitor.

if needed one monitor is a 1080p monitor at 240 hz and the main is a 1440p at 144hz

Its like the video pauses for less than a second and then keeps going. This happens in both recording and on stream. 4k60 software does not do this nor does xsplit. Any ideas?

Having some audio issues with my 4K60 Pro & Wave XLR software. When adding the 4K60 as an audio source to the Wave XLR the console audio becomes warped and scratchy (no other clue how to describe it). Has anyone else come across the same issue? So the PC that you want to capture should have the HDMI port going into the spot labeled IN. The PC that is recording/streaming should have the USB plugged into it. The output can be plugged into a monitor

Hey guys! Small question that has been bothering me for a while. So I have linked my wave link sources etc and it works great, love the program! My only issue is that I don't hear ping sounds from discord. For example, when someone pms me while I am on a game, there is no sound that comes from that ping. I have attached my discord outputs and have an elgato wave 3 (if that helps). I can hear people when i join voice channels and calls fine, just the pings that don't make any sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Anyone able to help, I got a Wave XLR yesterday, and I tried setting up stuff to extra channels, like Chrome to "Wave Link Browser" and Spotify to "Wave Link Music". But when I listen to them there is always stuttering.

If I just have them output Headphones there is no issue, so it seems like its something with channels.

I did try and google it, but at least from what I could see nothing worked.

Any idea what I could try to resolve this, as I assume this isn't intended.

I have submitted a support ticket about this, just trying to recall what I have tried, different USB 3.0 port, adjusting audio buffer. Saw some people had issues with wireless headphones when searching but mine are wired, but I did try with a different headset and it wasnt an issue. Though given the issue is only present on channels I didn't expect that to fix it.

Oh and the sample rate for all the devices is the same.

Hi all, new elgato user here. I just had a quick question regarding the HD60s+ that I recently purchased. What sort of cpu/gpu usage should I be looking at from the card? Because I'm currently getting 20-30% gpu and 15% cpu usage. Paired with my obs (sitting there, not going live) Im going to 90% cpu and its causing issues. Hey guys, hope someone here can help. I've just been trying to setup my Elagato Facecam on my laptop. Its a surface book 2, plugged into the USB 3 port with the cable it came with but the Camera hub is saying its plugged into a USB 2 port which i've triple checked and it is definitely USB 3. I've double checked USB 3 drivers and Different cables. It works fine on my PC at home just nothing on my laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?

Its not the mic audio that's delayed its the game audio, like right now in Elden Ring if I swing my axe the video and audio will do it 1.5 to 2 seconds later which shows during a stream and throws me off.

Well I found a audio cable i had sitting around that let me plug an audio jack into my hd60 and into my controller, the side of the cable closer to the controller has a split i can plug another jack into. i told the elgato to use analog audio and everything fell in place

Hi there. For anyone who may have had this issue before or know how to troubleshoot it. I have been using Wave Link for a few months now and have never had this happen. Today when I turned on my PC everything was normal. After a couple hours AFK I came back to my sound not working and my Wave Link completely reset to default. I set everything back up with no success of sound. Tried restarting to see if it fixed and when I restarted, Wave Link went back to default again. Have stream in the morning and can't get anything to work. pls halp.

Hey there, so I use the HD60S+ to capture from my Xbox Series X to my Laptop. I use OBS to stream. I had a lot of comments about the video being ahead of the sound. What was told to me and seems to work is this:
1: Add the video capture device (capture card)
2: Add an audio input device (also capture card)
3: Mute your video capture device and see if that helps get the sound and video more aligned.

I don't know why it works, or even the logistics around it, but it works for me. Hope this helps you 🙂

Well the issue I'm having is not even from obs. So when I play my ps5, I have to have the 4k capture utility app open otherwise I can't game sound. When I do have the app open, there are times that the sound is just laggy or distorted.

I used to look at that on my HD60 S+ and I would agree, looked like crap, never tried to listen. I temporarily used the 4K60 S+ which looked really amazing in the Capture utility app, but I think the short answer to a lot of this, is that the new consoles have a higher 120hz refresh, and so far, the only unit that can work that to the fullest is the 4k60 pro. I returned the 4k60 S+ and I am anxiously awaiting for a new capture card to release that can work for the new consoles

Replaced MOBO and now cannot get elgato 4k60pro mk.2 to show up as a device. tried reinstalling software and drivers. completely lost at this point. it shows as a display on the game pc im sending signal from but isnt recognized at all on stream pc as a device, in obs, 4k cap utility, or device manager. Everytime i call support number its just a bunch of beeping and then saying not available. Does anyone have any other paths to check? I'm at a complete loss....

im having trouble with my 4k60 pro mk2 losing and regaining signal while the passthrough has no issues. sometimes the signal will be shifted to the left with the cut off part on the right side of the screen (like one of those sliding tile puzzles when you have an entire column on the opposite side)

ive noticed the hdmi cables routing the signal inside my PC have a dent in them from the edge of the disc drive bracket pushing down on them. it seems weird that the signal to the TV is fine while the elgato isn't

I can try some angle adapters to avoid them getting pinched by the optical drive bracket and maybe try swapping the input and output cables around to see if the output cable has less issues. I might buy another set of cables as these ones are longer than I need and take up unnecessary space inside my ITX PC. What I'm worried about is if it's really the cables or a fault with the 4k60, since the passthrough works fine

and the same force that's pinching the cables is also pushing down on the HDMI port side of the capture card. It does appear to have a teeny curve to it (though much less than how the motherboard is curved from the CPU cooler). It could possibly have caused slight, but enough to destabilize a high bandwidth signal, damage to the HDMI connectors?

this is the first time I've tested the card in a while. Worked just fine in December. I did change the CPU later in December and I'm having problems with a PCIe graphics card I bought in late feb which is currently in the shop being looked at (the old GPU which has a 5W higher TDP is working fine)

I've also noticed that mouse and keyboard inputs go jank when the the signal issues are happening. They were also going jank when the GPU being inspected was playing up.

just remembering I recorded switch sports during the play test and it had no issues handling a 1080p signal. it seems like the state of the cables could be affecting the signal quality which the TV is happy with but the capture is being more picky. I'll see if getting those adapters to move the cables out of the way of the disc drive bracket and swapping the 2 cables around works, if not, I'll do some surgery on the cables to repair and shorten them

Trying to understand why the stream deck and the obs integration for the stream deck have different version numbers, when the website says these numbers should be the same? I have a dual PC Setup. I use an el Gato HD 60S in my stream PC. When playing Halo (Full Screen Boarderless only option) my frame rate goes from capped at 240 down to 180 exactly and then right back up every few seconds. This causes studders in the game for me. I clone the display in the nvidia settings on the game pc and output via hdmi from GPU (3080) to the el gato hd 60s internal capture card. When I disable the cloning, i have a solid 240 FPS at all times.

Is there anyone here that would know why or how to fix this issues of frame drop on the gaming PC when cloning display to el gato on stream PC?

Hello! Im using an Elgato HD60S+ to capture my game & chat audio from my Series X via. Elgato chatlink cable.
My audio keeps randomly dropping.

I haven’t gotten a fix for the lag, but give OBS a go instead. See if it’s the software in Streamlabs that causes the lag

Honestly for me, Streamlabs is a lot of bloat, and hogs cpu usage, which slows down a lot. I use OBS since it’s not as bloated, and serves what I need. Try using it, it and see what works better between them. Twitch Studio is good too, if you’re streaming to Twitch.

I unplugged all my USBs expect the capture card but that didn't work so I removed the HDMI from the PS5 and finally It worked! I tried that before but nothing happened, I have no clue what could have caused that

@tranquil nexus what I’ve seen on my Series X is some apps like Netflix or Disney won’t come through the capture card, kind of a bummer deal since the new consoles have a much higher refresh rate it’s kind of shocking the HD60 S+ can even deal it out. But I’ve had issues of clarity of picture, freeze framing, sound delay and such. When it wants to work, it’s pretty good! But it seems to be kind of wonky at times

~~Hey everyone, brand new to streaming so go easy on me. I'm having some issues.

I'm using an Xbox Series X and an iMac for my setup (yes I know, not super traditional). Picked up the HD60 S+ today and hooked everything up. So my issue is that my game feed will either only show on Streamlabs OR my gaming monitor, but not both at the same time.

If I unplug the HDMI cord that goes Elgato OUT <-> gaming monitor then the video feed shows up perfectly fine on Streamlabs. As soon as I plug in the HDMI cord that goes Elgato OUT <-> gaming monitor the monitor kicks on and shows the video but then Streamlabs goes black. Then when I unplug that cord from the monitor again, monitor goes black and the video feed kicks back on in Streamlabs. I have no idea why it's not showing both at the same time. Something I'm doing wrong?~~

Same thing happens on the Elgato "Game Capture HD" software.

Hi! I just bought an stream deck. And i noticed that i could download icons ans plugins in the app. I saw some really cool icons i really wanted so i downloaded a couple of icon packs. The first time i tried to change my button to one of the icons i just downloaded it worked fine. But now i cant change icon within the stream deck app anymore. When i try to click on open stream deck icon library, my whole streamdeck app freezes and after a while it crashes. It works again when i uninstall all icons, but i really want those icons in the stream deck app. It works to pick an icon from my windows. This is really annoying so is there a fix for this? Beacuse i really want to change to one of the icons in the stream deck app.

Over the last month, I've had three blue screens caused by my Elgato HD60 S driver. I thought they were related to my webcam since the first two seemed to happen around the time I'd plug in or unplug my webcam, but this third one happened just a few minutes ago and I haven't touched my webcam since last night.

Windows's dump indicates UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP from the driver CY3014.X64.SYS aka Custom Broadcast Driver Architecture & AVStream Minidriver which, from a quick Google search, indicates this is from my Elgato HD60 S.

Over this same time period, my Elgato HD60 S has also refused to output anything in the 4K Capture Utility unless I unplug it and plug it back in. I'm certain this is related to the blue screens, but I wouldn't know how or why.

Hey Guys! My key light air has fully just, broke...

I usually have it linked up with Lumia Stream nicely, so when i open lumia stream, it turns on, and turns off once closed. But it has fully just disconnected, When i press the power button, it goes full 100% brightness, it's also disconnected from my control center app, which is the only way to control it... I've tried the reset button, holding for 10 seconds etc, but it does absolutely nothing, no blinking or anything.

It also isn't showing up on my wifi connections...

When using chat link, all my audio is so quiet. It's maxed out in Streamlabs but when I record/stream it's super quiet. If I remove the chat link cable and stream normally, it sounds fine. Why is adding the chat link cable making everything so quiet?

I had a problem like that, with my YouTube account. Never figured out the problem, so I just removed it, as I didn't use it. Try removing the account and all buttons related to it (Make a backup of your profiles first!), then try restarting the software, and add them again.

Yes OBS kinda works I guess, It does capture the gameplay but from my experince the video freezes after 5 minutes of recording and I have to restart OBS. But I need the game capture app to work so I can change the settings on the card.

I move away from gaming on the Mac os, and ran bootcamp, but 1 year later it killed my mac mini, with an egpu

Hello I’m really struggling to figure this out I’m working on a stream set up I can run games of my pc just fine but I really want to be able to stream off my Nintendo switch so I got a capture card the hd60s but over the past few days I can’t seem to get my audio to work it’s either not there at all or when I some how it comes on it’s sounds super static and fuzzy dose anyone know how to fix this issue?
