@ancient zephyr i have that issue when i open the scene before powering on the console.
there is an easier way to fix it.
- make sure that the "deactivate when not showing" checkbox is active, on the source for the HD60S (comes in handy for other reasons too)
- when you have that green thing, just hide that source and re-enable it.

does your console actually output a 4K signal? if yes, i'd thing that might cause the capture card to mess up.

@cunning latch I originally started out playing with an Xbox and wanted to start streaming. Wanted to enhance stream so I got a PC, cam and the elgato.
The PC was a hand-me-down so whenever I hooked everything up and the elgato wasn't working I presumed it had to be the PC, how it was complaining about USB 3 ports, maybe mine were faulty, right? So I go through NZXT and purchase their $1,500, "Streaming"PC" and it's a beast. Now I'm still constantly having issues. @cyan relic if you move the window to where you want it and in the drop down menu select the window that you are wanting to control, you can just hit the Get current windows location and it will auto fill the fields. Then when you press the button it will move that window to that spot on activation. You can also fill in the resize fields if you are so inclined and it will resize accordingly

But, Why I find delay only on Elgato Game Capture?
In the second video, you can see the flashback feature of Elgato Game Capture doesn't work well. When I checked the video file directly, there was no such problem on the video like that.

@lofty basin throw all icons into a folder then copy folder and using the streamdeck after you paste it where you want to move it go into the folder click and hold the action press the streamdeck key to go back and drop into the profile/folder or whatever you are moving to
the streamdeck will switch the software for you so you dont have to hold over the back button to go back, it's the fastest way there is that I know

There isn't an easy way to do that. Possibly with a mixer like the GoXLR which may have multiple outputs and you could send audio out to the Xbox controller possibly. But that's not something I have too much experience with.
That setup isn't typical. Using the same microphone for the PC and console at the same time.

I suppose that could work. Voicemeeter confuses a ton of people in general, but it's a great tool.
Have it loop microphone audio to an unused audio port and route that physically to the console.

It confuses people cause they set it up completely wrong haha yeah set windows to route your audio by listening to the Mic input to an 3.5mm output on the rear or front of the pc then use a 3.5mm cable to connect to your controller that'd work

Open up your audio settings and then the sound control panel.
Find the rear or front audio output, which ever you prefer, take note of what it is called as you will set the microphone to playback itself on that device.
Go to your microphone of choice, ill use my webcam audio as an example here, click the properties and go to the listen tab.
Set the setting Listen to this device: to on and then select the device that matches you front audio out or the read depending on what you prefer.
You may have the option to to split the front and rear audio jacks if you have the Realtek Audio software *it comes installed by default on most prebuilds or the driver/software can be installed if you have the Realtek audi chip, if you do you should do it as it will stop your microphone from going into the rear 3.5mm jack if you are using it to send to speakers.
You can then plug a 3.5mm aux cable into the front jack and run it to your controller and your PC mic will feed your Xbox controller.

@tawny crystal The low FPS issue could be due to performance or problems with the USB ports on your system. What are your computer's specifications?
As for the blue lines in the feed, not sure. Switch seems to do this sometimes. I'd try shutting the Switch down fully. You can hold down the power button until a new power menu pops up. Then I'd disconnect everything from the dock. Connect Power, then HDMI, then re-insert the Switch into the dock.

@cerulean marten Going from Display Port to HDMI generally is fine, but the other way often requires a special converter box.
What other ports does your monitor offer?
@quaint atlas Currently 4KCU captures audio over HDMI from the capture card and optionally whatever you have set as your Live Commentary device. So just those two for now.
Desktop Audio would either need to be added as a feature for direct capture or Sound Capture/VoiceMeeter could be used and then the Live Commentary option could select the Sound Capture/VoiceMeeter virtual device.
@proud vessel Changing the resolution for recording in any software doesn't affect the passthrough.
So when the console is 1080p, but you leave software at 1080p it goes blank?
If you're using OBS, leave the HD60 S running in 1080p mode or 'Device Default'. And just have your canvas either be 720p, or use the Output Scaled Resolution to 720p.

One thing from my observation is that whenever I try changing the setting, the monitor will goes blank for a moment but the screen preview in OBS run smoothly. But then after the monitor is up again, then the preview start to stutter.
I'm not sure whether it's related or not, but somehow it's consistent.

I'm getting a completely black screen with my 4K60 Pro. 😦 This is after I've tried it again for the first time in well over a year. It seems to be getting a signal of some sorts, but it's just dark. I've tried uninstalling all elgato software and re-installing the 4K Capture Utility software but it still gives me nothing but a black screen.
I'm using it to send the display of one PC to another PC so to avoid the performance penalty of capturing on the PC I'm playing games on. I've got a 1440p120 monitor cloned over to the elgato 4K60 in the nvidia control panel

Been having a hard time with my Cam Link 4k. Intermittently freezes after 30m-2h use after a solid 6 months of running fine. No new hardware was introduced and I've tried replacing the usb cable/hdmi connection as well. All I can find online about it points to USB bottlenecking and throwing the product away. So I had trouble with getting game chat into the stream, which is now fixed. Awesome. But my current issue is that I cannot hear alerts in my ears when streaming, so I am unable to hear when people follow or sub or donate, which doesn't help being a small streamer. IMO, we must be present right away when people follow or sub and that's what I am trying to do but I cannot figure out the setup. I need to get the audio from the computer AND the game into my ears. Whats the work around?

@cunning latch so for some random reason my Elgato HD60 S is stuck on a freeze frame of a game that I do not even have, even after I reinstalled the program multiple times (reset settings checked) I reset my pc, and I changed all ports that I was using, but even if nothing is hooked up to the elgato I get the same random freeze frame

Yeah, I've already tried that.. But at least the autor has a working camlink... Mine gets recognized y device manager and softwares... But doesn't get any signal.. In fact it freezes in "initializing" font a minute then changes and stays in "this device is already in use" which is not... And it gets very warm..

Hello everyone. Having some problems with my stream getting double audio from the elgato. I stream off playstation 4 with a HD60. I have Astro A40 with mixamp. Usb headset plugged into ps4. Optical plugged into ps4 from mixamp. Chat link from mixamp to HD60. When I broadcast, HD60 gets my game and party audio to stream, but is also picking my voice up from my headset AND from my external razer Seiren x. So essentially I have 2 voice audios coming through and it’s echoing and causing me to sound robotic. I’ve tried a delay and it helps but never sounds perfect. If I unplug chat link, hd60 doesn’t get any game audio

@cunning latch I get screen flickering in OBS from my 4k60 Pro mk2, but in the 4k Capture utility no flicker.
If I have both up, the flicker then begins in the 4k capture app.
I have tried all the hdmi cables that I own (all highspeed less than 10 feet), no difference on any of them.
No frames drops on stream, cam link has no flicker. Just the input to the 4k card.
Any ideas?

Any capture card essentially emulates a TV. That's why your system sees a third monitor. You'll need to clone/duplicate that third monitor with your main display.

Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone else has the following problem too: I recently bought an El Gato Stream Deck and ever since I got it my OBS Studio keeps crashing because of it. I keep getting errors from Chrome though most of the times but not always. I tried re-doing all my scenes and everything but nothing seems to work. OBS would never ever crash before I got the stream deck and now I can't even do my streams anymore. Should I just write to support about it? Any idea or suggestion would really save everything for me so thanks in advance!! 🙂

@wintry latch I recommend you to check OBS Discord, and try get help there. You will need to submit the log File to them, but they will explain how to, after they analyze they can pinpoint to what software may be causing it(probably a 3rd party software, not Stream Deck software itself or OBS...).

Hi All, I was wondering if someone might be able to help? I have a stream deck and my CPU display plugin only shows 0%. It used to work but I did a complete clean install of windows and since then it has not been displaying anything other than 0. Everything else on the streamdeck seems to be working just fine and attempts at uninstalling and reinstalling have not helped.

Hello I’m having a issue currently with my Elgato HD60 S+.
The issue is that the software 4k Capture is showing a Black Image On My Software. However if I connect it through streamlabs it’s seems to be working.
I’m currently have it fitted to the Xbox 1 X. None of the articles online have worked to solve my problem.
As well then using the 4k Software into Streamlabs I don’t get any sound when I’m streaming. I’m wondering if I can get any help?

And/Or go into Game Capture preferences, and then the Advanced tab and change the encoder and decoder to another selection.

If it's doing the same thing in both programs and the other steps hadn't helped, I'd try it in other USB 3.0 ports you have.
Otherwise I think logs or something would be needed. That would be handled over phone or email.

Well with Xbox One, Game Audio and Party Chat should be sent over HDMI to the capture card and TV. So may be an Xbox setting.

This only reflects audio coming from the Xbox itself. If you want your voice to go to the capture and other players that is a bit more complicated. You could use a Chat Link which connects into the controller, then using Mic Monitoring it will send your voice to your headset.
But since Chat Link is sending a copy of everything to the capture card, the voice ends up being captured. It's not the smoothest setup, but an option.

Alright. Well only reason I ask is that some Mixamps for headsets offer a output port where you can customize a second mix. You could for instance have Game Audio, Party Chat, Game Chat in a mix you like listening to sent to your headset.
Then a second mix with your voice included and customized to how your viewers might like it output to a 3.5mm cable and sent to your computer.

Gameplay Audio + Party Chat + Game/Lobby Chat -> Headset
Gameplay Audio + Party Chat -> Elgato Capture Card
Blue Snowball Voice Audio -> Xbox
I'd probably use the Snowball with your PC for viewers to listen to you. And leave the Headset mic for talking to teammates.

Question! I have a 4k60 pro MK.1 in my streaming PC, and it’s running in a PCIe 2.0 slot. I’ve heard of overheating issues but haven’t experienced them (yet) but my question is, would upgrading the mobo for PCIe 3.0 (or 4.0) make a huge difference?

Should make zero difference.
MK1 used more power, and thus outputted more heat. It's a 2.0 device on a hardware level. Just be sure it's not sandwiched in between two GPUs and should be fine.
In the 2 years it's been out, I don't believe there was any issue pinned down to heat.

@cunning latch So, it COULD, work. But i mean with a 1080 ti i record 1440p 144hz without an issue. i must say i do'nt want to upgrade my second PC right now, i recycled my old components to build the streaming PC when i updated my gaming conf.
the real question is : is it just a matter of computing power, or is it also a compatibility issue with possibly the new instruction sets that have been added from the skylake processors, if it is just a matter of computing power my 3770K Overlocked is almost at the same level as a 6700K and at the same number of cores. Thanks again a lot for your help in this problem.
@idle shoal For the high refresh rate it's not only a question of "Smooth" image, but also in competitive gameplay the refresh rate will show you the pixels earlier, even if we see at 24 fps (to make it simple) our eyes have better chance to catch the good frame when an enemy pop around the corner in fps game with a higher refresh rate. Linus tech tips did a really good experiment vidéo with pro-gamers to measure the reaction time and accuracy for different refresh rates.

Just imagine you had 240fps and then 24fps but the other 216 frames were filled with black frames. Which would you take? One has more info in it that your brain can use. Your brain can't get much info off a black frame.

@quasi sonnet I have a 3770k build on my shelf and a 1080 Ti in my system now. if I was determined enough I could put together your system and try it... But don't got the room to do that right now unfortunately. Infact technically the 3770k would be below spec for our 1080p cards. Is that realistic, maybe not. But that's the division that was setup during validation.
Point I'm making is, yes in theory the 1080 Ti can take over all that workload just fine. But the platform, not the CPU, is part of my concern. It may choke more readily with all that data moving through it. The 4K60 Pro may be pushing 8-12Gbps through the PCIe slot nonstop.
So, as a support agent, I wouldn't sign off on it. That's just how I have to handle this.
To delve more specifically. It's not specifically compatibility. As for performance, if you're running 1440p144 input, but in OBS you're streaming 1080p60, then from an encoding perspective it's 1080p60 just like any other input.

Anyway, it happens that I stream Destiny 2 which does not support game capture under Obs, to have correct performance in stream I would have to at one time or another go through a card acquisition for this issue. Then the card will be used above all to record the videos on the stream PC to offer quality content on youtube later using the recording in its source quality ... I will buy it and try, at best it will work and solve my performance problems and at worst I would go on a Ryzen 5/7 2x / 3x or a 9700K if I find a good price. thank you again for the detailed technical answers, they are very useful to me.

A couple things I remember being mentions for Switch problems + OBS would be to ensure that the Windows Game bar is disabled, and that OBS Studio is in Admin mode.

Sound Capture is a bundled download with Game Capture HD. Try uninstalling Sound Capture and Game Capture HD, then redownloading from https://gc-updates.elgato.com/windows/egcw-update/3.70/final/download_x64.php
Also be sure that Microphone and Webcam access is enabled in WIndows Privacy settings. This can also block it from working.

You could also try downloading the 4.5 update, then open it in an archive software like 7zip. I believe there is a StreamDeckPlugin.dll inside. You should be able to drop that into C:/ProgramFiles x86/OBSStudio/Plugins/64bit. Worth a shot at the moment.
If it doesn't work I'd give us a call or email, especially since all the other steps hadn't helped.
@thorn salmon There are a few solutions. Look into OBS Camera possibly. You could run a portable/2nd instance of OBS Studio with just the Cam Link inside a 1080p frame. Then using OBS Camera, output that scene while recording. Your main stream setup can then import OBS Camera as a Video Capture Device feed.
That's just in theory, haven't tried it. OBS Camera is a plugin for OBS Studio.

Hi all
My wife has recently purchased a stream deck so she can button press to cue some audio bites. Problem is she says there is a bit of a delay from pressing the button to when the sound plays, she has tried mp4 and also Wav but with the same result.
She has snipped the audio from longer clips on a Mac using a program called Audacity and then taking them to a Windows 10 pc to apply them to the stream dec, if that info is any use?

Well a capture card won't speed things up unless you had a second system dedicated to running the card and streaming software.
If you have one computer, then I'd stick to using Game Source in that case.

Your computer is still doing all the work of encoding/processing the stream. Adding a capture card there generally just complicates it.
For a setup where you play a game where you feel no impact from streaming, Dual PC is where it's at. Or I'd upgrade your main computer. Ryzen CPUs aren't too expensive if you pick up a first or second generation model.

Hmm. Well I'm not sure what I could suggest otherwise. Using a Capture Card with one computer and gaming on that computer generally isn't advised. I'd stick to using Streamlabs OBS with a Game Source/Software Capture.
Maybe use your RX560 as encoding if possible. I think it's known as VCE inside of the encoding options. Your 3 core CPU is holding you back.

@south bronze Because it has no analog port. For SLOBS/OBS with the HD60 Pro. You'll need to use the Custom Audio Device options on the bottom of the properties panel.
Are you using an analog cable with a two PC setup?
@gilded onyx Unless Vsync'd, tearing will almost always exist in some form. Just like with a monitor without Gsync or Freesync.
Higher refresh rates can reduce this though.

Though doing things like FastSync/Triple Buffering can reduce buffering but reduce fluidity. Is your GPU Nvidia? Maybe check out Fast Sync.
It essentially holds the last frame in the framebuffer, and when the monitor is ready to refresh, it flips and sends the last frame.
No tearing, slightly higher latency than no vsync. But may work for you
I believe it's only seen in the 3D Settings > Program Settings.

I even have another workaround possibly.
Setup the capture card as a extended monitor, not duplicated.
You can run OBS on the gaming PC. Have it hook the game using Game Source. Then inside of your source list, right click on the layer. Go to Fullscreen Projector (Source).
This will have OBS grab the frames from the GPU. But will send full complete frames as a fullscreen preview to that extended desktop/virtual-monitor. The capture card will receive a full resolution feed with no tearing.
A bit of overhead, but OBS doesn't use much when it's just sitting idle

After you reboot, verify the driver installed. Go into Device Manager, then under 'Sound, Video, and Game Controllers' look for the 4K60 Pro. Right click on it and go to 'Properties'.
On the new window, go to the Drivers tab. What driver version is shown? Should be 1.1.0.187 or 1.1.0.187.2

The reason you lose signal is because Windows is actually disconnecting the monitors and re-initializing the desktop when you move in and out of Exclusive Fullscreen mode. It's a long running behavior of Windows for decades.
Borderless will work around this.

I use streamlabs on my Win10 laptop with only one scene : image capture device.
Video is OK, but i got sound from the internal microphone (ugly) and not from the GoPro.

Someone on Reddit showed me what to do so for anyone here that wants to know how to open websites in specific Chrome profiles you need to use a System:Open and under app/file add : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --profile-directory="Profile 1"
Change the number in "Profile 1" to what ever your profile's number is
Your profile number can be found when looking at the properties of the desktop shortcut of your Chrome profile

if it is just a macro hotkey to trigger something then yes. If it is an action from the plugin list then no. But i do think if you set it up in an multi action with a very long delay if you accidentally hit the button it will go through the delay first, which IIRC you can press again to stop it? worth checking it out
for just the hotkey macro part SuperMacro on the plugin store thing has a long click feature. So you can just not set anything in the short press and only put the hotkey in the long click

I know BarRaiders macros cancel on the 2nd press if still running, I am not too sure about elgatos multiactions though, it may just run the action from the start again. Possibly one of the guys that use the elgato default plugins more could put their xp in.

Hello my friend recently installed a Elgato Cam link 4k to use his dslr camera as a webcam for his stream. That looks great and everything but now his voice sounds stuffed up/nasally/muffled. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing that? Streamlabs is still set to be using his Blue Yeti mic. We tried disabling the cam link 4k as a recording device in windows, set the cam link default input for audio to the microphone, and set the Mic as the default audio device in Windows.

Hi all!
So, I'm a content creator on Twitch, and a lot of my content relies on using my Nintendo Switch. I'm using the Elgato HD60S capture card. I ran into a problem about two months ago where my video was very stuttery and laggy. Everything I researched about the problem said to get a USB 3.0 switch in order to give the card more power. I did that today, and it seemed to help a good bit! I also changed the audio settings on the capture card to "Capture Audio Only," and the problem completely eliminated itself!
Only now it created a new problem. The game audio from the Switch is double-reporting, through the Capture Card channel in the mixer, as well as my Desktop Audio channel (through my headphones.) If I mute the Capture Card, all goes silent. If I mute the Desktop Audio, game sound comes through clear and continues to broadcast through OBS! But then my alert sounds don't, and they're pretty important to me.
Is there a setting I have wrong somewhere? I'd like to be able to use my headset to hear game audio and broadcast my alerts, without double reporting. Thanks in advance!

I'd check under windows to see if somehow your capture card listen is set to listen on the desktop audio. You can click on your sound icon next to your click, then sound settings. Then Sound Control Panel. Then under the recording tab right click on the capture card device. Once the properties has opened check that the listen tab isn't set to be listening on another device. Otherwise It would probably be a setting with Elgato @modest zinc

The brand/Headset shouldn't affect it at all
Your headset is just receiving audio from your computer. It shouldn't affect how your audio outputs from the capture card.

This is what my mixer looks like. Both Capture Card and Desktop Audio are modulating, and after a lot of testing, BOTH of those reports are the exact same audio from the game.
The second is broadcasting any audio from my headset. Which is coming from the capture card, hence the double reporting. If I mute it, I hear the game fine, but it won't broadcast the audio from my alerts.

I actually use OBS, and I think I just figured it out! If I set my alerts to their own channel in the mixer, then there's no need for PC audio. I can mute that, and the double reporting stops while I can still monitor the game sound and such in my headphones.

A work around is you could install vb-audio virtual cable. Make sure to set the listen to your headset for that device then so you can hear any audio going into that virtual audio cable. Then you can add virtual audio cable as a device on obs and change discord to output to that audio device

if you go the vb-audio virtual cable route just make sure to keep your regular headset as your default audio in windows. But that would be one way of just adding discord to your stream and keeping desktop audio muted

The issue was me thinking that with the capture card set to Monitor Only (mute output), that it wouldn't modulate in the mixer. But even if it's modulating, it isn't being broadcast...it was a personal oversight. Thanks again for putting up with me and brainstorming, I really appreciate it. 😄

none of those changed how it sounded.
One thing he mentioned to me, idk if it would cause it. He had to set it up as a NDI source because as video capture source it wouldn't output anything.
We also checked to make sure the source was muted in slobs and slobs is set to only use his mic. It really doesn't make sense why it's suddenly different

It’s because TVs take old signals and generally try to modify them to make them look better, the Elgato won’t change the picture that’s just ur TV making old pictures look prettier than they actually are

Oh where it says 'Live' on the bottom left? It's not streaming. That's Flashback Recording. The Live button is letting you know the preview is currently showing realtime.

Well you can run it 'headless' without a monitor on the output. but was wondering if the connected monitor was 1080p. Then it would limit the output.

I've just swapped from the HD60s to the HD60 S+ and getting the error message 'USB 3 is required for this device' in the capture software. Never had any issues with the older model just can't get the new one to work, any ideas? (I'm using Mac OS)

@river rampart Try other USB 3.0 ports. Sometimes the ports that worked for the S don't seem to work as well with the S+ from some discussions.

@tacit portal What software are you using? This looks to be caused by interlacing. If your camera doesn't offer progressive output over HDMI (like 1080p), then your software will need to be setup to resolve that.

Hey all, im getting started with a duel stream setup. I have acquired all the hardware for the build but im pretty lost when it comes to actually setting up. ive watch a few videos but nobody goes into details on the actual hardware (this wire in capture hard, this wire into this monitor, ect) anyone run a duel streaming rig and have some info where they learned to set theirs up?

So I’m thinking about buying a OREI HDMI Splitter 1x2 1 port to 2 HDMI Display Duplicate/Mirror and was wondering if it works with the Elgato HD60s when it comes to recording gameplay off of a PS3?

Usually an HDMI out of your gaming PC in to the HDMI in of the elgsto on your stream PC. Depending on setup you either do an HDMI out of the elgato to your monitor or use a different cable from your gaming PC to your monitor.

sooo I need some help. I've got an hd60 pro (the one that actually goes into the pc) and every time I try to open game capture I get this. i tried uninstalling game captrue and reinstalling, I tried taking out the card and putting it back in, I've tried the card itself on 2 different pcs with the same issue at hand, I don't know how to fix it.

I just picked up an elgato hd60s and I am having trouble streaming... I added my mixer profile, I clicked start streaming and it says I am on air, however, when I visit my profile on Mixer, I am offline.

@south bronze This is for the K95 functionality? Make sure iCUE SDK is enabled in iCUE. This is required for the integration.

I just plugged in my streamdeck for the 1st time and am a bit lost as to how to get it to work. I found the program and downloaded it, but the buttons on the deck do not change after I change it in the program. 9 center buttons are the elgato logo.

Honestly it may reduce some of the stain on your machine but not by much at all even then running an HDMI out of you computer back into your computer is kind of redundant anyway, I would recommend just using screen capture tbh

so a few things I have for anyone that may be able to help
trying to do this whole two PC setup thing, and for some odd reason, the PC that has the 4kPRO MK.2 isnt recognizing the device? its light is on, and my gaming rig knows an HDMI is plugged into it in the display settings. but for some reason I am getting no connection in the capture utility, also there isnt any recognized devices in streamlabs OBS!
the rig has only a ryzen 5 CPU in it, but I cant imagine the strength is the cause of it not being detected, I just discovered I need a ryzen 7.,.. so that sucks, but in the meantime I am looking into why I cant seem to find a proper connection to the device! @cunning latch @lyric ivy @signal musk @bold ember anyone able to point me in the right direction? I apologize if I'm not supposed to tag, I didnt see any mention that I couldnt in the rules!

hey. i have a problem with my Stream Deck.
my Anti Virus said that the "Bar Raider Stream Counter" on my Stream Deck had a virus.
at the same moment, my PC crashed.
from this moment the existing counter on my deck didnt work anymore. but my Anti Virus doesnt show anything i could add to exceptions or anything. it as itf it never reported anything.
on the Stream Deck App on PC it shows an "install" button for the Stream Counter. but i can't install it, which is shown in the video below.
i did try to uninstall and re-install the stream deck app. didn't fix it.

Heyo, I don't know if this is a bug or just something wrong with my configuration. My issue is that every time I shut down/reboot my PC, my Stream Deck loses all memory of anything installed through "More Actions". As a temporary workaround, I have to uninstall and reinstall all of those extras every time I boot up my PC. Sometimes it doesn't work on the first reinstall, and I have to do it again. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to address it?
The ones I am using are "Audio Mute" and "Audio Output" by Fred Emmott, near the top of the "Most Popular" sorting.

hi there, elgato stream deck question. I would like to use 1 button to toggle a streamelements OBS source on and off. I have found the button that does this. However, when I use this button in a multi-action button, it no longer toggles - instead, I need to set it to either activate or deactivate the source. Is there a way to have an action inside a multi-action button act as a "toggle" rather than a one-way switch?

No you can have two of the same keey one as activate and one at deactivate! and then also a timer when it shuld happend!

Yes and if it is with no timer it will activate and then deactivate! at the same time! so there would be no stream if it is to start and stop the stream!

ive been streaming with dual pc setup for awhile (using a HD 60pro cap card) and I recently upgraded from 1080p 144hz to 1440p 144hz, when I duplicate the display the Elgato "monitor" is at 1080p 60hz and my main is showing correctly at 1440p 144hz but when I launch a game it only does 1080p 60hz. In games I can't seem to get it to see the 1440p 144hz unless I stop duplicating the display. Any ideas?

After updating my firmware for my Astro A40s TR my after recording of the audio hasn't been the same since after the update. I was wondering how can I make the ( Line 2 ) just my desktop so I can record my Commentary there. The after recording is an echo with double Game Audio if anyone can find a fix to my problem please let me know thanks!!

does anyone know of a plugin or something that allows you to set a delay between hotkeys? delay isn't really the right word but basically: i'm trying to use my streamdeck as a game controller but i'm having issues with double presses when i only click once, so if i set it to, say, only being able to execute the hotkey once every 500 ms i think it could solve my issue

Hi guys, with my new stream pc i have some video glitches. I found a reddit post with the same problem ( https://clips.twitch.tv/SpookyDeadEagleRaccAttack ). I updated all my drivers, set my power on maximum etc. I installed the drive which was recommended by the Elgato Team. I have less glitches but the problem is still here. @crude ridge Inside of Device Manager, under Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. Look for the 4K60 Pro. Right click on it and go to Properties. Then go to the drivers tab. What driver is installed there?

I thought enabling flash-back recording was supposed to record all the time and then save when you click "stop"
I just had a whole game (Nothing save-worthy happened, luckily) not save because I have to tap the red record button twice in a way before it actually saves the recorded gameplay

@grave ledge Flashback recording is like Shadowplay in that it's always recording but you have to tell it what to record.
You'd move the timeline slider to the left to scroll back in time. hit record, then move the slider again then hit record to decide what the end of the recording would be.

I don't have experience with the new K95 or this integration personally so there isn't much else I can suggest.
@unborn marlin Your Mixamp might be combining other game audio into it. The firmware update may have defaulted the mix. I'd look into Astro Command Center to see if you can customize this.

@unborn marlin that's the line input which is the game audio. There'll be a separate voice channel in the MixAmp Pro. Try that. My MixAmp Pro has two audio inputs for example.

@ornate sonnet I don't believe that's related to the camera. I would try using it on different USB 3.0 ports. Some may be congested from other devices and cause this.

the issue is definitely with OBS because once I closed OBS and reset everything, it was working again.

@tacit portal what cap card are you using? When you're doing recording in one OBS, is it just of the game screen?

@tacit portal Not really no. It's meant for one instance. You may be able to setup hotkeys inside of the second OBS and have Stream Deck trigger those.
